Some people are losers who just wanna be jerks. Some people are using hacks to unlock achievements and sell those accounts to people who don’t wanna do the grind themselves.

Fact: Rare has voice to text capabilities. Fact: They can filter every time I say **** ***, or go **** **** ***, or I'm going to **** **** *** ** *** ***. Determining the number of **** words from a player versus "normal" speech in a given period of time is not a difficult data issue. This simple analysis combined with a warning system would go a long way toward reducing toxicity and harassment.
But Rare is stupid with some words that shouldn't be a problem, Crazy in spanish is "Loco" yet loco is censored. Jacket is literally translated in game to "Chaqueta" (Is even in the chest named like that) and is censored... There are a lot of words that shouldn't be censored yet they are for some odd reason
They destroyed fishing by fixing Crud Launching in this update. You can’t fish pondies and you can’t fish treacherous plunder at the shores of gold cause the spots are bugged. 😢
Absolutely agree that “just mute” solves nothing. And it is absolutely insulting. I generally do mute them but the few times I’ve been harassed, especially while playing 1v1 so I had no one to drown them out or jump to my defense, it left me shaking… with both PTSD and rage. I finished the dang match rather than giving in to them because the other option “just leave” is also insulting and only helps THEM. As a woman, I have no desire to jump into the game (an escape) and be verbally assaulted or harassed.
I totally agree with you on the reporting feature, you basically have to prepare and upload video evidence, provide timestamps, gamer tags, a description, all while being logged into their website. It’s a ridiculous system. I actually have 3 saved clips of cheaters, I just can’t be bothered to jump through their hoops.
What they need is server sided aniicheat, or servers that do all the physics calculations. Yes, the latter is expencive, so maybe not a good approach in that regard. But a system thats like "This guy had the game for a day, played 3 hours and has a Million gold. Lets flag that for review." and a system thats like "No, you cant climb into someone else's cannon from wherever you are, get banned" would be nice.
Also like the report tool is a fuckin joke. A fuckin Minecraft Server has better shit in place. And their CS is like "You got banned? We are not even gonna tell you why."
Microsoft should really start blacklisting the bank cards registered to game pass trials users caught cheating, or just bite the bullet and take the game off of game pass so cheaters are forced to pay the £40 when the game is not on sale. Obviously Microsoft would never remove it from the game pass, but forcing cheaters to pay actual money each time they get banned would thin out the cheater herd a little.
Grinding for pvp curse is what got me to uninstall. Fighting a cheater every other 1v1 starts to get to you, ive wanted to come back so bad but everything recently has told me not too.
Huh, I've been away from the game for months, so finding that cheaters are on the rise again is quite unsatisfying. I hope it gets better soon. And yeah, reporting tools on SoT are a fucking joke. They've been negligent about people like this for a long time and I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner.

Because they can and its not illegal. thats the thing. no matter how hard devs try to fight against cheating there will always be cheating.
