WightLine & NightLine | City Bus Manager | South Coast

Today is a big day for South Coast Busways, the launch of overnight services on the Isle of Wight in the form of the N13, branded as the NightLine. Running along the 1, then the 3 in the overnight period between those daytime routes. The route launches at the same time as the upgraded route 3- now called the WightLine- and uses the same Enviro400MMCs as the WightLine.

With the N13 requiring a roster of six vehicles, would it save fuel costs and dead running to adjust this route to commence at Newport (Newport- Cowes-Newport-Ryde, and Newport-Ryde-Newport-Cowes)?
