I've always like TBS more than AAR. But they were also my first official concert. I believe it was the underdogs tour? From First To Last, Hawthorne Heights, All American Rejects, and Fall Out Boy.
00:38 FYI, that 'side car' he mentioned is actually a small computer desk (with wheels) that runs Pro Tools. This is the 'traditional' way of setup when tapes and analog console are used back in the days. In modern setup, analog or hybrid console can mount the monitors, keyboards and mouse on top of the console on a dedicated space.
Yep - such a sidecar was our add-on in the studio back in 1994 when we already had two Studer tape machines in the back and added a 4 channel ProTools/Digidesign system with a 7100 PowerMac and NuBus ports.
@@Fastvoice 1994 was the first ever me and my band record our songs and protools rigs wasn’t even exist here. The studio use a 24 track Studer straight from the console. No computer was used, no click track either. Every single take is intense. Really a pressure, no undos 😁
It's a studio thing, once you're recording or producing, some of us like to avoid stress with a warm mug, It give US a break while you're making It or leaving the room for a ordinary thing
@@jeremythornton433having a real drink or beer is an unprofessional conduct nowdays, once you step intro the room o booth you must treat the crew and place with due respect, I mean, i don't know if back in the 70's, but it's a studio, it's not a bar.
I'm always surpirsed when i see people using Pro Tools instead of Cubase. Don't get it. Cubase is so easy to use and as far as I know, cheaper too. i could be wrong though.

I agree. What;s wrong with a real drink or a beer? isn't this rock and roll?
