These Uruks that trusted you and you sat back and did nothing when they called for you is why I am mostly a lone wolf as I have experienced similar situations where I trusted people and they left me out to dry. So when these situations do happen, it makes it all the more painful.

@@ryanred1525 as someone who play gravewalker and have around 10 orc to take care at the same time + killing the enemies I can tell you that if one of your orc get downed at more than 15 seconds of you, he's dead
Wish the orcs who came back at least know that there are players who try to save them but couldn't because of the obstacles like when your healing them only to get hit by a sword and forced to watch them die

To be honest, I want to see a bit more of the ones that cheat death and don't betray quotes. To be honest, the ones that did betray you made it sound like you screwed up horribly. Especially that War-Hulk.
I would never leave my uruks to die on the battlefield or anywere i love them like family and the first 2 betrayles i ever had made me cry since then no betrayles
I don't cry but yeah I like my orcs maybe too much. I would never let one of them die. I have 200 plus hour's in the game and I have never purposely let a orc die.

I feel practically nothing for my own troops because I've been backstabbed way too much, thus it's only a matter of time before I betray my own troops on my own whim even more than I already did ... and the 1st 2 times it was as horrible as it gets, but now, no more feelings for those *abominations* .

CHEATED DEATH-BETRAYAL they makes me so sad because I really like some of these guys, they're cool I always try to save my followers even if I'm on the the brink of death
it sucks to see a lot of good Uruks come back to kill you in their betrayal, it sucks even more when you pit a whole bunch of them to kill each other in pits ebcause you're thinning out the herd, and sucks even harder when you get ambushed by like 4 of them and realised you made a very shitty mistake.
I had this Uruk once… I killed him by executing him. He came back with scars and is now immune to excution. Then I killed him by fire. He came back with melted skin and is now immune to fire. Then I killed him by crushing with a Graug. He came back and is now beast immune and can one shot beasts. Then I killed him by using Elven Rage. He came back fucking bullet proof. I was running out of options. Then I killed him with Poison... he came back with Poison immunity and can spawn fucking spiders. I then killed him by falling. He still came back. I then tried to recruit this immortal Uruk... turns out he resisted so I shamed him once. To my luck he became a Maniac and got stronger. He also gained Great Strength on top of his original Doppleganger skill. He also gained enraged by everything. I have never been able to defeat him ever since... he was unstoppable. Everytime I encounter him, I drop everything and run. He was not my nemesis... he was my Nightmare

I've got a cheated deathly loyal orc named Horza the Assassin in Seregost. While I was attacking a couple Orcs, he just showed up out of the blue and he CAME BACK TO LIFE AND IS LOYAL TO ME! He just touched my heart. T.T
I wish there was a Cheated Death but loyal quote that went "Boss! I was bleeding out, crying for your help, and you didn't save me! Well! I'll show you! When you're dying on your knees and death is laughing at you, I'll save you! I'll show you how to be a savior the RIGHT WAY when it's YOUR time!"
For Ar-Janek War-Hulk and Ar-Beka the Abandoned, were fucking heart breaking. To be honest, I know how he feels and I NEVER abandon my own. I even gave up getting a gold online fortress assault to save one of my guys that was downed at the very start of the fort for some reason, but I didn't care about the gold. I save my forces first before I can call it a victory. For Ar-Baruk the Grinder, that kind of loyalty is something I never forget and I take VERY seriously. I even had an Uruk return the same way and I had him as a bodyguard until we took one of the forts, I let him kill the original Overlord and made him Overlord.

i think about the "Cheat Death + Betrayal" has multiple major factor's like with how many enemies were around you when he died, the current loyalty of your captain and how often you tried to save him only to be interrupted by a enemy attack.
That would explain why I only got betrayed twice: once when I was getting an achievement for attacking a captain enough, and once when I didn’t even know that one of them was bleeding out
Gives you a moment to open your eyes when one comes back from death and betray you because you could of helped them, they trust you even if you force them to work for you and you can betray that trust easily as you earn it
so from what I can see, those that end up Dying while serving you get tortured (at least quite often) and join the dark lord again. that is interesting
there should've been certain variables that go into whether or not an ally Uruk will remain an ally when they cheat death, for example if they bleed out one of the variables will be if you at least tried to revive them, or if they get executed (if they can cheat death from that) then the variable is whether or not you attempted to rescue them, etc. of course those variables are situational on how they died, there should've also been a hidden trust/loyalty value which affected the chance of betrayal (cheat death or not) depending on how well you treated the Uruk, could've opened up ways for Talion to socialize with his forces and get to know them
I will pull out of the game and restart the encounter if one of my guys dies. Never have let them bleed out. It's not a failure I ever want to face. Weird how much this game helped me care about them...

it may suck but the only way to make an uruk cheat death to serve you again, you need to be freinds, to become freinds, you have to save them from bleeding out, quite alot, and they have to save you at least onece or twice i belive. at least thats been my experience. an uruk that has cheated death to serve me just happened to be my favourite, he'd get downed i would drop EVERYTHING and save him, fortress falling? let it fall. other followers dying? let 'em, i wont let this one uruk die. so i saved him. alot, more then four to six times in fact. and the result? after finally losing him and comming back to that region after a month or so of other regions and not playing, he cheated death to serve me again. that or give them missions, and help them win, maybe put them in a position of partiuclar power, like warcheif or even overlord, or maybe a body gaurd for a while. and just hang out.
Funny thing: i attacked one captain, and he's blood brother came from shadows to help him. I enslave that brother, and when i tried to enslave that 1st captain, he was killed... by that brother. He insta get triggered and attacked me XD

I had this one orc that I shamed down to level one, and then I executed him but didn't cut off his head. A little later he showed back up and was higher leveled. I executed him again, and this time I decapitated him. A while later he ambushed me, even higher leveled and now with a bunch of new perks, bonuses, and a stitched on head. I ended up recruiting him because goddamn, he deserved it lmao
I forgot this Olog's Name, but he was a strong one. He was a commander, and he summons Ologs like crazy. Not to mention he has an Olog Gang with fire weapons. I was able to kill him all the way back in Minas Morgul. I thought nothing of it until about the next day, when I was in Nurnen. I was in the fighting pits, after killing a Captain, when he CAME BACK. That would be somewhat suprizing if it wasn't for Minas Morgul being ON THE OTHER SIDE OF MORDOR. This Olog basically travelled through Mordor JUST to kill me. Noted, he WAS deranged. But still, that took skill. I dominated him, and now he Peacefully resides in my Garison on my now Second Playthough, waiting for me to level up enough to release him. He isn't my Favorite Orc, but he IS one of the most powerful.
The whole cheated death and betrayal thing never happened to me. One because I never use my captains for dangerous missions, two I barely let other captains near mine and 3 if and it's a massive they did die they stayed dead followed by me outright executing the person who killed them

Not gonna lie, but when i I played I'd try my hardest to make sure my captains didnt die. Had to make sure no orc/uruk was left behind.
The only time I seek vengeance against a ork for betrayal is when the kill/nearly kill a still loyal captain or when they betray in a group.

Mine cheated death and then later on betrayed me after i summomed him as bodyguard. Thought mine wad an exception
The whole cheated death and betrayal thing never happened to me. One because I never use my captains for dangerous missions, two I barely let other captains near mine and 3 if and it's a massive they did die they stayed dead followed by me outright executing the person who killed them
