I don't want to disappoint people, but I haven't been able to find a job for 7 months (while having long-term visa and a work permit). I survive solely at the expense of my husband XD .I have fluent English and over 4 years of experience as a corporate lawyer. During these 7 months, I managed to partially switch and now I am looking for a job in a completely new field (IT) and have received an international certificate. Hope, here will be easier. Unfortunately, there is a crisis in the labor market.
Of course, this is very individual, but you need to evaluate the realities and possibilities before moving to this country.

Hey thanks for sharing your story!
I’m convinced the amount of job offers obviously depends on the field you’re applying for yet there’s always a human/personality factor that can’t be applied to everyone based on another persons story.
Which actually is true for ANY country you’re looking for the job in.
Also, of course whilst someone is willing and happy to work under X conditions another someone might require XXX conditions which also make the search not exactly same
Anyway! I’m wishing you the best of luck in IT sector and hope you do enjoy “the rest” of Netherlands😌💜

Thanks for your comment. It's nice to read about similar experiences. I moved to NL in November and been applying and getting interviews ever since but still no offer and I get so frustated when people tell me it is so easy to get a job in the country.

Interesting you said P&G. I used to work there at their HQ for 2 years.
I hope you’re able to make it in. The assessment sucks, but if you pass it interviewing is a breeze.

Oh I worked for P&G for few years back in Poland until part of the company got sold. So actually technically never left P&G haha
And totally agree - assessment sucks but then it’s pretty cool environment!

Hey. Do you think people with less experience and qualifications can find a job in Netherlands from abroad?

Hey! I’m sure it’s possible and actually would recommend to do so to benefit from the 30% ruling ( vs finding a job already after relocating here)!

Hi! I would look for the job at the job finding resources or the agencies I mentioned in the video that help facilitate the process!
      Good luck!
