@@bernhardeisel7859 you have to understand how they got these orangutans, most of the time their moms are killed and they are stolen from the wild, then sold in the black market pet trade, and all they are used for is to make money, that is not right! Also you have to wonder where and how they keep them when they aren’t exploiting them for money.

Each one has a "caregiver" and they show the orangutans how to do the gimmick or whatever it's called. They then let them try it and they repeat the process until they have it. I won't deny that some orangutans have been abused. However the abuse is normally from the Palm Oil Plantation people who destroy the orangutans homes. They outright kill the mothers while they're holding their babies! Then IF the infant survives the fall or the gunshot, or the slice of the machete. Some babies have been rescued without their hand or entire arm. These killers keep the babies as mascots, or they'll sell them into the illegal pet trade. The mercenaries teach these babies to smoke cigarettes 🚬, get drunk on alcohol🍸, and they tease them mercilessly! While this zoo may not be the most ethical thing for an animal it beats the lives of some. This zoo NEEDS to care for these orangutans and chimpanzees. They bring them money! Money that's extremely hard to come by. I'm sure there are exceptions to every rule, and circumstance, but to pre-judge or condemn without knowledge is just as bad.
