Task idea: You are now extremely shy. Any time you make eye contact with another player, you must freeze in place completely. No movement, looking around, or speaking. Once eye contact is broken, pretend like nothing happened. You must do this for 20 minutes. All time counted must be around other players.

I love how Scar said near the beginning 2:45 that the items he was selling would save you in your time of need, and then at 21:00 grian was eating sweet berries which was actually one of the items in the chest. Scar was really right!

I actually liked the singing task. Mostly because Grian already naturally speaks in a musically rhythmic way that could pass as song or lyric poetry. It's just when and because he's trying to sing that it sounds discordant and obvious (though obvious is kind of the point of this particular task).
Task idea: make everyone believe you’ve failed your task, but every time they ask you what youre task was you tell them an other task. And never the same one.

I think this was my favorite episode in any life series so far. The singing, Scar singing along, the betrayal, the caving adventure, the alliance, all of it was just pure gold

Also agree here! I think this has been one of my favorite episodes so far! The caving scene had me on the edge of my seat and the bits with Mumbo, Tango, and even Scar were just SO funny LOL God, I love this series so much. The best MCYTs to date!
I could really feel Grian's stress as he tries so hard to not starve or get slayed inside the mines looking for diamonds.
Task Idea: You become a narrator for [player name] and narrate everything/most things they do like a wildlife documentary for half of the session. Potentially a hard task????

For nearly all of this session grain was just a bird, he lived in an egg, was singing for the first 10 minutes. He's now Songbird Grian.

I noticed, that whenever Mumbo is in the radar, or any other player is in range, Grian will always be on a block or two higher than everybody else.
And Now I believe that it is because compared to Mumbo, Grian is so short IRL that he's trying to make himself taller in Minecraft

@@Slightlycamouflaged each session is 3 hours, so that's only 1/18th of a session. Several people have been uploading hour long Secret Life episodes, like Bdubs, and Etho and BigB for episode 5. Even Grian's episode is almost 40 minutes and you can tell he cut a lot of stuff out

Hot Potato: You may show this task to other players. The first time you read this task, if you haven’t already completed or failed a task, you are it. This is now your task, you must swap your previous task with the person who gave you this task. At the end of the session, if you have this task, you have failed.

Task idea: change the language of the game to one of the easter egg languages(ex: Prirate speak or LOLCAT) and refer to the items with their new names. You succeed in your task if no one is suspicious by the end of the session.

Task idea: you can only eat fish for the whole session. If anyone mentions your task then you have to make a fish pun and throw fish at them.
Task suggestion:
Etho is your first "Target".
Talk to the Target, the first other player they mention is the next Target. You must only speak to the current and previous Targets. You must do this until you have spoken to 7 different Targets (Etho included). If you talk to someone else on your way to a target you must go back one Target and get a new Target.

Secret Life task Idea:
Hot Potato. Give this book to another player. Once this book is in your possession you may not get rid of it unless transferring it to another willing player’s inventory. If this book is in your inventory at the end of the session you fail your task no matter what your original task was. If you have already completed your task when you receive this, you may deny it, but only if you’ve already pressed the win button. If this is your task to begin with, you may only press the win button at the end of the session if you do not have the book.
Kinda long winded, but I thought it was a cool enough concept to justify that

New secret idea suggestion: you must have at least 10 conversations where, somewhere in the conversation, you dig a 1 block hole underneath you and stay there for the remainder of the conversation. You can do this multiple times with the same person, but not in a row.
i feel like one reason this season is so amazing is because watching every different perspective actually brings something new! I love finding out everyone’s tasks

@Grian Next life series suggestions: parallel life, you divide the server into two equal parts with a wall dividing the two. Bogeyman could then switch skins with another member on the other side of the border.
Watching Scar’s POV gave me a great tast for a RED name. “Put curse of binding on a helmet and get another player to wear it.”
You could do this with a dispenser, because it automatically equips armor without the player getting the chance to look at it first.
but wouldn't having a helmet just make it harder for them to die? maybe this could be done with a pumpkin or another piece of armor
@@idontcareidc A helmet because you can break it. If you do a pumpkin, they can't get it off without dying.
@@idontcareidc You're not allowed to have a helmet on on this server. So if you put a helmet on them they have to remove it or else they're breaking the rules. This means they would have to:
1. Die to remove the helmet to comply with the rules.
2.drop an anvil on thier head until the helmet breaks.
3. Simply go against server rules, have a helmet, and everyone shame them for it.

Task idea: You may only speak to people whilst standing at least two blocks higher than them, for at least 30 minutes. You must interact with people during this time. Slipping up resets the timer.

Idea for new life series: random life.
In the first session, everyone gets a random number of lives from 1-10 4-10 is dark green and the other lives are normal. 1-3 boogeys are selected each session unless there are all reds. Every other session, your lives get rerolled but if you died in the previous session, the maximum number of lives you can have decreases by the number of times you died. For example, if I got 5 lives then died twice, the maximum number of lives I could roll for the rest of the series is 3. If you don't kill and you are the boogy, you go straight to red. If you kill someone, the chancees of you getting a higher number of lives are increased for every kill.
I think this could be cool.

Here are some of my task suggestions:
- Christmas has come early: You're feeling awfully generous. Give a gift to each green name on the server
- Silent treatment: Give a member of the server the cold shoulder for 30 minutes. You may not avoid them on purpose
- Party time: Throw a party for another member of the server. You may choose the occasion. A minimum of 2 other guests must celebrate with you. If any guests leave within 10 minutes, you fail
- Yellow spy: You've become an honorary yellow name for the session. Work undercover to expose someone's secret. You may tell other yellows
- Armour-less: Don't wear your armour for the session
- Basement buddy; Build a secret base underneath someone's base. If you are caught, you fail
- Poultry Panic: Dress up as a certain chicken based vigilante and help other players without them finding out your identity for 1/2 of the session
honestly some of these should definitely be the hard tasks due to how easy it would be to guess these tasks and the sufficient difficulty in accomplishing them
maybe for the yellow spy, beause they are yellow spy, yellows cant call them out
party time and armourless is definitely the easiest to guess. Especially given that it's gonna be the fifth episode
Task: Get Grian to re-itterate the rules 3 times without him calling you out.
Task idea: Say hi to everyone on the server at least once before talking to the same person twice!

Task idea: Start a 5-minute professional fishing contest with 3 or more players and attempt to catch the most fish. You get as many attempts as you like as long as you can convince the other players to do a rematch. Optional: Put on a country accent while doing so.
2 Task ideas:
1. Steel someone’s pet and convince people that you own it. (You have to deliberately show people it too)
2. Tell someone a fake task and have them bring you to the statue thing.
Task idea: YOU'RE A PLANT LOVER! You must plant and bonemeal trees around every house into a forest including yours, and scream at anyone who tries to clear it until someone else plants the rarest plant you can get in the game, the small dripleaf, or a yellow name guesses your task.
I genuinely loved the musical. Especially the impromptu duet with Scar. I wish we could get more of it...

Task Ideas:
1) You are now a creature of the night and deathly afraid of direct sunlight for the rest of the session. You must always try to keep at least 1 block between you and the sky, and you can only travel exposed to the sky during nighttime. (add in some hissing or sounds of pain if you want)
2) The player is given multiple copies of their task book and needs to distribute them to the other players. When another player is given the book there will be a line telling them to turn to a second page (and to guess before doing so if they are yellow). This page will say that the reader has become infected and must then help the original player spread the copies of their book to the remaining players in addition to the task they already have, and must refrain from exposing the nature of the task to any player who is not already infected. The task will succeed if all players have been infected by the end of the session.
Another idea I had that's a bit cruel in the hearts department was: Whenever someone mentions them or another player losing X amount of hearts you must take the same amount within the next few minutes unless X damage would kill you, in which case go down to 1 heart remaining inteased. If another player mentions the same instance of X player losing hearts you do not need to take the damage again.
for the helmet issue and needing to recognize member and so i recommend the cosmetic armor reworked mod, it lets you toggle on and off your armor's appearance or even make your armor look like another set which would be fun if someone wants to wear a custom item without removing armor, this way everyone can look good or keep their skin while keeping all the armor and others can always recognize them.
I'm SO glad you realised Cleo and Etho were a good option for an alliance. It's definitely going to change things up!
Yeah in past seasons hes mostly allied with scar. Glad to see hes changing it up

task idea! You have to give your book to someone you trust, you are only allowed to tell them not to read your book. they are not allowed to read it, If they read it, you fail (to the friend who read it, you have to say that you read it)
Task ideas:
1) Be the reason another player fails their task
2) Show this book to one other player. They must show you their task. You now have the same task as them. Only the first of you to complete it may press the success button, the other immediately fails.
