Miranda Gallegos Eventing it’s somewhat specific to the horse, but it’s always outside leg back, and then some combination of pressure- either inside leg pressure, outside leg pressure, or both. Fern’s preference is a soft touch from outside leg (not clamped or sustained pressure).
Ok that’s what I do too. I tried this exercise today with Henry and it was great. At first he tried to speed through but the quick turns and changes of bend really made him pay attention and then the canter aids got crisper as well even through the seat sometimes.
