Interesting to find a regular and a freight elevator right next to each other.

those elevators have a one say system. enter through one door and exit through the other door.
This is literally my favorite Target Elevator because of that motor!

Ohhh back to the old intro and outro. What happened to the new intro and outro you always use? But that’s pretty cool that there’s a passenger elevator and a freight elevator. I also got a little worried because there’s a security camera in that freight elevator. Hopefully a store employee didn’t catch you riding it after you stopped your camera. But that’s the best race I ever seen!
I think this video was finished before the new intro was made and just uploaded today.
I rode the freight twice in a row with no issues when I came here during my visit although I didn't let the doors open
I like to spice things up from time to time :)

I'll pretty much would ride the freight elevator. If I had to do an elevator race, it would be me and daughters versus my son.

The freight elevator motor was AMAZING and it kinda reminds me of the scenic elevators at Fair Oaks Mall motors in Fairfax VA. Did you have to get permission before riding the freight one?

The sound of the motor is similar to european hydraulic motor

This passenger elevator has two pairs of doors
The target in Mission Valley, San Diego does the same thing (button pressing itself) and has almost the SAME motor, except they're Schindler

Awesome A-flat pitched motors, but I love the harmonics on the freight elevator! And that passenger elevator had an advantage because of the speed of the doors closing compared to the freight elevator.
