It was a bittersweet victory. Golden Land: This is GB created by the director of Mario's Madness Marco Antonio. You can see Wario hanging in the background why GB shows his true form. Paranoia: This is V a serial killer who was popped by a cop while trying on a virtual boy headset at space world. Luigi in abandoned is one of the ai who was killed in Wet Dry world of super mario 64. Unbeatable is based on a Cursed Australian Commercial that is banned for freaking out many kids. Also those aren't ducks those are Gyromites from NES Gyromite

Mr Virtual actually killed GF off screen and stole her body and soul, allowing him to transform into her and make it seem to BF that he possessed her. In Powerdown, MX says "Innocence doesn't get you far", which means that being to naive or innocent in a competitive or hostile environment could hinder ones ability to achieve certain things. At the end of the song Powerdown where she gets ripped in half, you hear the Mario death music, Which leaves me to believe that she had another life as they were in the Mario game. She must have just had another life and then respawned.
In the original 85 port, the deal is that Lucas has unlimited lives, so that MX can keep torturing him forever. While BF and GF can indeed perish in this mod, they also have to abide by the rules in MX’s world, meaning that they both have unlimited lives too while Powerdown and Demise are happening.

No, they had infinite lives and that was the reason why there were multiple deaths, but in All Stars M it modifies them and leaves them with only one.

The Reason why Girlfriend was able to come back after being killed in Powerdown and not in All Stars is because in All Stars, her soul gets absorbed by Ultra M (the main guy you fight against in the song) to make himself stronger after killing her
