notes on why i think some of these might be taking a long time: FIST: has at least two guitar tracks, maybe even three, plus uses some phaser effects that maybe makes it hard to re-learn by ear. PINK MAGGIT: not a difficult song to play, but the timing is really inconsistent in the intro and outro. trying to get a take with the timing the same seems frustrating. XERCES: 5-string bass song just like needles and pins that almost never gets played live. THIS PLACE IS DEATH: crazy shimmer reverb effect that probably makes it hard to re-learn by ear. watch them play it live at Trees Dallas in 2010 to see what i mean. RIVIERE: he only plays for like... half of the song. doesn't seem very fun. the boys republic and crenshaw punch are rare tracks anyways, so it's not much of a surprise that they haven't been done. additionally; ANNIVERSARY OF AN UNINTERESTING EVENT: there's live footage of this song where he plays guitar, but he skipped it when he did all the other songs from s/t, and the recording sounds like chino's guitar tone anyways. UUDDLRLRABSELECTSTART: again, sounds like chino's tone, but the tuning clearly has an open C# on the high string, which unless chino is borrowing stef's 7-string like he did for deathblow, doesn't match any of the tunings he typically uses. wikipedia credits stef for playing drums on both of these songs. i can't find any proof of that elsewhere though.
