I am restoring a 1973 and have painted French Blue also. You have done a AWESOME job with the car and with the video. Jestem z Polski godnej in Ohio USA
Wow she came a long way. Looks great! The color reminds me of the Aston Martin DB5 that Sean Connery drove in the early bond movies I love this car though (also much more affordable than a DB5) I like it in red but I can appreciate this work of art, that's what it is! :)
A on niech się odwdzięcza. Chapeau bas! (Radek ''Rapid'' Borowicki, CA).
Beautiful restoration. These cars are sadly under appreciated., but i have no doubt prices of Spitfires in this shape will double or triple in a few years
Every time I watch this vid, I keep thinking how good of a job you did! It would have been cool to see the build footage. It would have been neat to see how you refurbished some of the interior, too. BTW, what was your exterior color spec?
@@adriankysik7635 Hi Adrian, thanks again! I forgot that I asked that same question from earlier. I guess the other question I wanted to ask was what your inspiration on the interior? Did it just evolve or did you take it from another classic car's interior swatch? And, did you get those parts locally or did you recover/refurbish most of the interior parts?
Naaah, I still have the car for myself :) Yeah - that was the leaf springs. Right now it is fixed. Between the leaf springs there should be put at the end of them small poly bushings which are making bigger distances between the leaf springs. In my Spit it was missing -> I realised that few weeks after restoration :)
Nice. I guess its a good thing you did! Before you fixed that, did you feel the drive wavery in any way because of the missing bushing? I would kinda think that that would've been a wonky drive!
Adrian Kłysik Excellent. Love the color. I am restoring a '73 Spit 1500 originally French Blue. I'm thinking of painting it a similar color to yours. What paint is it? Here's my blog on the restore: 73spitfire1500.blogspot.com
Chris Bowerbank Nice website! When I'm looking on your photos and my memory comes back to the thousends of hours spend in garage, coz I actually restored 2 spitfires. All of those memories are wonderful of course especially fighting with SU HS4 carbourettors, you have just one, it's much more easier to use. The color is Saphire Silver Blue metallic from BMW. I don't remember the color code and i do not wrote it anywhere... but just try with color pallete. By the way I saw a photo with 'Triumph parts graveyard'. Maybe do you have some front and rear bumpers in good condition? If you have any questions/problems with this car, you can ask me I'll try to help you.
Chris Bowerbank I live in Poland. Prices for parts are extremaly high for me. Polish currency is really bad and prices for Triumph parts here are british, haha. Where do you live?

In only 14 months! That's awesome!
Outstanding camera work. And editing.

Dzięki Bogu jesteś o niebo lepszym mechanikiem niż operatorem kamery ;D
Thank God you are a much better mechanic than a cameraman ;D
This left me with my jaw dropped. amazing job!
Man! Your work is amazing! Well done!

You did a terrific job.
Fantastic work. Did anyone else notice the brake warning light was upside down?
Love the colour and interior. Would like to see more of the actual resto work on more videos.

+DraconBS Ograniczony budżet początkowy :) Dzięki!
Beautiful restoration. These cars are sadly under appreciated., but i have no doubt prices of Spitfires in this shape will double or triple in a few years

This is awesome man :) greetings from Czechia
Świetna robota!
Jai la même voiture mais dans le même état que la vôtre mais au début de la vidéo bien rouillé j'aimerais quel soit comme la vôtre un jour, i hope +++
Adrian, did you restore both the black and blue spitfires? If so, that's a smart look and brilliant results of time well invested.
Great job ! You had your work cut out for you on the body !
Spoko!
Every time I watch this vid, I keep thinking how good of a job you did! It would have been cool to see the build footage. It would have been neat to see how you refurbished some of the interior, too. BTW, what was your exterior color spec?
Hi man! Thanks! The used color was bmw saphire silver blue metallic.

nice take off when you hit the tarmak, High compression, Sporty cam, Dual HS4s?
+Calvin G. Williams Yup, this is the most powerful setup with SU HS4 inside. Thanks.
My and my dad bought one about 3-4 months ago he finally let me drive it yesterday, I'll tell you what though, isn't it fun putting that gas tank in?
Yeah, that's nice. Especially during hot summer :)
There was some car left on that rust. Great work! Is it just me or it sits too low at the rear and too high at the front?
Radostin Velchev Actually it's repaired, but you're right it weren't perfect right after restoration.
What was the cost to fix this beauty up?
Nice job on the ride. You made it classy and current. What colour blue is that?
Hey mate, thanks for your appreciation! This is saphire silver blue metallic from the BMW color. That's all I remember, few years passed already...
It it now gone? Quick question: was the leaf springs in the back making the rear wheels angling that camber?

Witaj, kawał dobrej roboty. Mam takie pytanie czy mógłbyś podać jakiś kontakt do ciebie, miałbym kilka pytań odnośnie Triumpha. Pozdrawiam

Adrian, nice restoration! Do you have a website with photos?
Hey, thank you. I don't have any website but I'll open one soon which comes with the new project!

The Triumph graveyard is not mine, but is near me. Do you need bumpers? Where do you live?

Artur Krawiec Jacob Banks - Worthy
Beautiful job but I want to hear the engine not some hideous music.
Thanks, I don't care what you want to hear. Peace :)
Go fuck yourself. Peace.
Hey Adrian, great job. I agree that having parts sent to Poland is expensive - I have a TR6, in Warsaw.
