You’re a fantastic father, setting him up for lots of fun while doing it the right way with safety. Scooter looks awesome and really well built! Also like that horn haha.
This was awesome my friend. I love seeing the smile on your son's face. Reminds me of my boy who is now 25. You've made him a very happy young man and that is a beautiful things. He'll see this video years from now and remember how wonderful of a dad he has. Happy birthday Chris. God bless you and your family. Love the channel. ♥
@ScootaGang 🥰👊 cool. I was told by another buddy to try our This brand called SENA but im not familiar with it. I figured i should watch some videos about it. Im still leaning more towards the cardo packtalk edge combo set.
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 to be honest, I would go Sena if you have the money. Our cardo has connectivity issues maybe 10% the rides when we go to use it. Have to turn it on and back off, or it will randomly switch to FM radio, random glitches etc. I've heard sena is better but haven't tried it yet ourself
Again happy birthday to your kid man! It is a really cool birthday gift! And Of course it had to be fedex! U should’ve seen my segway gt2 i had a foot wide holes in my box, anyway good luck and best of wishes to ur kid!
@walterhernandez83 damn thats a large hole! I'd be concerned about missing screws and stuff. 😬 thank you very much for the best wishes. I hope everything is working out on the GT2. That GT2 is an awesome scooter. 😎👊
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 i gotta give it to segway, packaging was really good so nothing on the scooter was damaged, thank god cause segway says they’re not responsible on their website
Hello. I really like how you explain scooter parts and scooters. You do a Amazing job. I don't know if you know anything about Hiboy scooters. But I think it Would be cool if you could reach out to them to see if they would send you a scooter to review. Because you do a Amazing job .
Man oh man oh man ohhhhhh man! I hope that your son realizes how fortunate he is to have such a great father who gets him super awesome and super expensive gifts like that Solar E-Scooter you got him.... WOW! That E-Scooter is just totally awesome dude and you trickin it out too just for him, man that's just so super cool man! Back in the day we would say... "That's far out man" or we'd say... "Bitchin duuuuude!" I also love how you got him fully outfitted! He might not think so but he really looks cool on it with all that gear! That body armor especially looks killer! I know that you are concerned about his safety and you are spot on about that! You know from your incident how hard that dang concrete is and it doesn't take any speed at all for that asphalt to tear yo ass up! So you stay on to him about that and as you know especially about that helmet! That traumatic brain injury is one that you don't have to bounce back from if you know what I mean! BTW... I meant to post on your update video about your incident that I was very relieved to hear that you were okay and able to make a full recovery. I have had a few bad falls on my mountain bike (I do DH mountain biking) and on my skateboard so yeah, wearing protective gear is not only smart irs essential! I love your decision to get you two a wireless communication setup so that when you two go on rides together you can always be in contact with him, that's a great idea. I know that you will but I just have to say it, he sure that you take your time with him and do "baby steps" until you can his riding skills are where they need to be and you can teach him good judgment! I mean, the E-Scooter is over the top awesome, I mean just so super awesome and I really think that it's one of the greatest you could have gotten for him, and at 13yo that's just great for him and for you, because it's a super fun and cool thing that you can do together and that means a lot in his life and yours too. We all want you to have countless hours of fun and experience a high quality life with each other on your E-Scooter's but the last thing we want, or you want 8s tragedy so dole out that rope very slowly and stay on top of him. You know about the folly of youth and it only takes one stupid mistake you losing track of him at the wrong moment! I don't mean to scare you but, well you know what I mean! Again, that gift is just so awesome man! You two are going to spend a lot of great hours discovering planet earth on your E-Scooter's together! I have a suggestion. To me riding a great E-Scooter off-road is a lot more fun and exciting then on boring ol' asphalt! I mean it requires you to have an E-Scooter that's well designed for it like the Yume Hawk or the Varla Eagle 2.0 with all-terrain tires on it, or the Wolf King GT or better yet the GTR with the better rear suspension and the traction-control, but it's a TOTAL BLAST! I don't mean to knock regular street riding. It 8s definitely fun too and you get to see all the cool locations along the way and again there's meeting all the hopefully for the most part cool people, but man there's something super special about traversing off-road terrain of all types, inclines, declines, drops, jumps, and just experiencing mother nature in the great outdoors! Check out some YT vids of some of the content creators that do off-roading on their off-road oriented E-Scooter's. I think you'll see what I mean! Okay, looking forward to seeing more of your vids dude especially seeing what else you are going to do with you and your son and both of your totally awesome E-Scooter's! Later, later! 😎
Very nice scooter. Very good quality…There’s a Solar scooter hub very close to me I’ve thought about checking out. In the state where I live a rider needs to have a drivers license to operate this type of scooter…at least 16 years old. From what I’ve read these Solar scooters have dual motors….very fast..Wear that helmet…
@firstinlastout it is a good scooter. The only thing even as a 291lbs rider with gear on is that the rear shock makes squeaky sounds, and it's a bit annoying, lol. I actually want to see if there is a way to upgrade my sons rear shock as i feel that the rear shock and the rear squeaky brake as well is what is holding this scooter back from being an awesome choice for heavier riders like me. But for my son, it works very well with no squeaky shock. Just the brake in the rear still makes noise. And the front locking thing gets a little loose with crappy road vibrations. As for a better scooter, maybe the solar P1 pro would be a better option, but it's also a little more expensive 😅
@TheLudda oh..... sorry. Eh lets see here. When you play the video on your phone. There is a spot that says (more) tap on that and a brief description will pop up on your screen, then you click on the more icon again and then the whole description page will open up and you will see all the amazon links for all the tech installed. 😎👍
Ok. Love my EQ but I found an issue with mine after only 65 miles and I’m wondering if your son has had the same problem with his. The $1500 price tag included a cheap plastic rear fender that’s glued to the frame and already broke off. WTH?! I’m not jumping curbs. As a matter a fact I haven’t jumped one yet. Haven’t even taken it off road yet. Before I unload on Solar for the HORRIBLE fender design I’m curious your thoughts. I currently have a friend 3D printing me a new stronger fender that wraps around the frame so I can bolt it to the frame. Frustrating.
@snowkatt hi, we haven't experienced that yet but i did noticed that too. I thought it was clipped on not glued. Wow if its really glued that does suck. Im gonna have to turn this scooter upside down and take a good look at it. Im sorry you went through that but thank you so much for bringing this up.
I just got my EQ today, but even before I got it, I was never a fan of the rear fender in particular. I already made arrangements to get a better one. It looked weak and bland from the site pics and the review vids. Bitter sweet to know I was right. Sorry you had experience it

May I suggest never trust any lock or chain. Anything can be cut. Thieves know these are pricey
Unless you get the Hiplock D1000 or something, can go through at least 5 discs before it gets cut
@@r3volt97 I'm just trying to help people out. Because I really dislike thieves. Notice how they don't use steel discs which are common.
