Simple Stir Fry Lettuce with Garlic

  • Lettuce is commonly eaten raw as a salad. However, if you ever want to cook it, try this simple and quick stir-fry lettuce recipe with oyster sauce and garlic. The lettuce is so crunchy and the sauce is so flavourful accompanied by the lovely aroma of fried garlic. Enjoy! Ingredients & Utensils ↓

    I've tried this dish once at a restaurant and that was the first time i had fried lettuce! Haha..never thought it was so simple. Made this yesterday and it taste exactly the same with the restaurant's. Thanks for sharing! 😀

    I simply love it only I added a few other things to it and it is so delicious I put blue cheese chunks after it steamed down there are so many things you can add I also chopped celery with the garlic and steamed it tighter first and then garlic on top WOW 👏😊

    I once tried cooking lettuce. I just stir fried it in nothing and ate it. I hated that. Then I realised maybe idk how to cook lettuce. I've tried it and man I just love it.

    I've been stir-frying leftover lettuce salad with chicken chunks and really like it! This is probably an underappreciated technique here in the West, but I'd say try it. You may just prefer it to the standard raw salad we're used to.

      Hi jhost19148, My apologies as this was one of those earlier videos that I made and I didn't really weigh the ingredients. However, I now make sure all new uploads videos have a specific measurement for all ingredients in recipes. By the way, the lettuce I used in this video is roughly about 550g.       @nelfallido5086. The bitter taste, if it is not from the burned garlic it's from the vegetable itself. Sometimes farmers use a lot of chemicals or pesticides on the vegetables which can taste bitter. Usually, vegetables like this should taste sweet, not bitter, so I wouldn't eat them if it's bitter. Just my opinion 😀😀
