Freddie is the showman. It was who he was. No one was better at it. Charismatic, musical and gifted beyond words. One of the best. A legend that will be around for decades and decades because he was so special and so talented. Only few live in that world. John Lennon, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holliday, Glen Miller, etc. Only a few names get to be in that group. Freddie is one.
Do you know that the guitarist Brian May handmade the guitar " the Red Special " with his dad when he was just 15 years old. The one he uses in this video, and he is also a Astrophysicist with a PhD and was Knighted. I throughly enjoyed your reaction, thank you!🫶👑💙
Oh, and this is one of my favorite Queen videos. Love this performance and video of Killer Queen. Love Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Fat Bottomed Girls as well.
Yes you are 110 percent right..he breathed and lived music..right up until his death and even after, with the recordings he left for the band to use after he passed. ❤
Hi, love your Queen reactions, and your great energy. I was 14 when Killer Queen hit the charts, followed them through the years, great musicians, Brian May lives just a few miles down the road from me, he is an Astro Physisist and appears on science programmes. I can't understand why you get any negative comments, I think you do a great job, best wishes from UK, SJ.
You are right about his and the band's work ethic. For the Live Aid concert, the entire band rehearsed until they got the songs all in on time (20 minutes ONLY for each band).
What a lovely tribute to Freddie! If you haven't already done so, you might like to check out these two breath-taking performances: White Queen - Live at Hammersmith Odeon, 1975, and You Take My beath Away, Live at Hyde Park, 1976
The people that tell you Freddie only drank tea onstage are painfully unaware. Look at the top of the piano at Live Aid or Montreal or about anywhere and those amber colored cocktails with foam on the top were BEER. In the 70s he would have champagne on the piano and often toast the audience. I saw him do that live. I think the people who insist that is tea and apple juice are the same people that insist he wasn't gay. Get over it. He was a rock star and he partied like a rock star! ✌💖
Thank you. You see it, some don’t. And IRL, he was a sweet, soulful, shy, generous, loving person to all he felt comfortable being around. Have you reacted to THE SHOW MUST GO ON? Also, THE MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN, FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS, SCANDAL, I WANT IT ALL, ONE VISION, IS THIS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN?, ITS A HARD LIFE, BREAKTHRU, THE MIRACLE, …and a million more. ^_^
Hey, Kev - appreciate your reactions to my all-time favorite band.. I don't need to tell you how talented and unique they were... look forward to more from you... (if you love what you do, it's not "work")
Thank you for the Queen playlist …..makes it easier to request reactions for songs you haven’t heard before, because there is so much more to see. Killer Queen was released in 1974 ….. you really should react to a few more of their early years …..”Liar” live at Rainbow 1974 and “White Queen” live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Be sure they are the live versions …… Thank you for your Queen reactions.
Since you mentioned the beer, you'll get some dumb comments saying Freddie never drinks beer onstage, even though he does. He's on camera drinking beer in Montreal '81 more than once. Unfortunately some Queen fans on YT are in denial or have poor eyesight. There are always 2 large clear plastic cups filled with beer directly in front of Freddie on the piano in their live videos, including at Live Aid in 1985. The small ones are Dixie cups filled with water. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ With show time approaching, towels and drinks for the band’s refreshment on stage would now be strategically placed: water and beer for Fred, beer for Brian and Roger and the Backstage Bar for John, comprising water, beer, soft drinks, wine and whatever spirit or cocktail he fancied at the time: Southern Comfort, vodka or tequila - Peter Hince (aka Ratty), Fred’s and John’s roadie and head of Queen’s crew.
Fun factoid - it's lip synced. At the time this was done they were still young and dumb. Top of the Pops was THE show to be on, and they didn't ask questions. When they found out that they had to lio sync they were seriously pissed off, and if you watch closely you'll see that they gave plenty of clues. The guitars aren't even plugged in for Pete's sake!
There is something about Freddie that makes a person smile. He was soo REAL.
R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU
You definitely gotta check out White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975, mind-blowing performance!
Yes! I've mentioned a few times, it's my favorite hidden gems. He's depriving his ears and they might no forgive him 😅🫶👑💙
Princes of the universe . Miracle , headlong , breakthru. ❤️❤️
Yo bro‼️Queen “I want it all “. 💥studio version. Banger. Thanks boss
There's only the studio version. They weren't touring by then because of Freddie's health.

He loved music, ballet, opera and falling in love, spending his money, giving gifts and just enjoying life.

This is such a sophisticated song in every way, so perfect and so very Freddie. I have always loved this song, thank you.
You really need to react to Barcelona, by Freddie and Montserrat Caballe. You will be amazed.
🌸 top of the pops with killer Queen is a great video.
good for you, dude--welcome to our music!
Brian May has said in an interview on UA-cam that this is the guitar solo he is most proud of 😊
I'm glad to hear you noticed the work ethic of Freddie. Most young people today have no idea what work ethic is.
Amen to what you said.
