Impressive !! Guitar Legend Jeff Beck has a nice collection of ‘32s. He does his own work too. Some of his cars have been featured in magazines from time to time. Best of two worlds. !!
There's a shop in San Francisco that builds 6 car's a year from 1932-34 brand new everything with modern brakes and steering. They look just like they would have back then. A lot of celebrity bought a car from this shop BB KING, Klint Eastwood, some movie producer's and musicians. They have people on a waiting list. Back in the late 90's early 2000s I must have went into almost every auto custom car shop in Northen California even small home shop's seen some pretty cool collections of people's stuff, and there are people that have plane's hanging in there collection with a full functioning dinner in a collection!
Did the tour a number of years ago, Art and his daughter are unbelievably nice people. Instead of getting me a cab Art hopped in his car and drove us back to our hotel lol. He has so much knowledge of Las Vegas in general it is unreal, he needs to write a book.
Never will forget my dad telling me about his friends and him building cars out of the junkyards in the 30s and again in the late 40s when he got back from Okinawa in ww2. He said they would just build a model T or A out of parts and drive it home in a day or two when they needed a car. He said it was what teenagers did then instead of autoshop class. Also standing on the front bumpers pissing into the radiators when necessary.
My grandfather had one of the first privately owned flatbed trucks in Scotland, he was a grain miller so he told me the down side to the new truck was after climbing the hill up out of the valley (mills have to be low down for water weight) he would have to drop the oil pan to lube up the front rod caps as all the oil ran to the back of the motor.
Steve you just gave me the incentive I needed to get back to work on my 45 dodge pickup I'm building, have 4 more in garage waiting,,I got side tracked buying and restoring vintage tools,,, I've bought and restored 6 metal lathes in the past 4 months.
@@WelderUpVegas Steve I've bought up all money cars, if I only knew what the cars I had growing up would be worth,,,my first car at 15 was a 67 dodge charger 383,,my second was a 70 challenger 340 and my third was a 73 SE charger with 400,, I kept my cars in great condition and didn't get more then 1000 for them in the late 70s,,, l have a 72 chevelle, 68 torino, 71 torino, 2- 64 Gallaxie 500 XLs, 64 elcamino, 80 z28 camaro, 66 mustang,,68 mustang gt,,84 vette,,45 dodge pickup, 82 elcamino, a 68 international bucket truck, and my 30 streetrod I built from scratch all aluminum body I built from 12 gauge aluminum street signs, lol,, it's a show stopper at car shows,,oh I also have 2 85 2 door Broncos and a 90 2 door Bronco,, learned to weld on a Lincoln 135 flux core, and quickly stepped up to a miller 180 auto set gas shield, in 75 my 67 charger was the fastest car in my town and in 77 I repeated it with my 70 challenger,, l have a 78 triumph Bonneville 750,,,and I'm building a 71 Harley sportster frame with a 98 evolution motor it's going to be badass buddy, Its great getting to actually message with you Steve I love your work my friend.
@@WelderUpVegas I'm on the east coast and it's hard to find classic cars without rust here in Delaware,,so close to the ocean and salt from roads from snow in winter,,so I have alot of repair to do on my cars,,you have taught me alot watching you I'm a fast learner..And love bringing classics back to life.

That is a really cool place to see all of those Hot Rods. That wheelchair I think would be downright fun as hell to drive or scary as hell. You just have to say my turn.
That has to be the coolest wheelchair I have ever seen, I'll be out there when the RAIDERS move out there. I'll have plenty of places to visit before or after each game.
I really wish I " CARED" about the most expensive.! As a car guy I'm into " CREATIVE car building . Not " MOST EXPENSIVE " as a car builder ,that's a big , YAWN ! Who cares? Not ,we, that build and create.
Really cool cars! Thanks for the tour. And we didn't have to watch you dangle upside down!

That black 32 flat head is bad ass......1932 was still during prohibition as well, seems like Ford built those to sell to moonshiners
I need that wheelchair
I had a unsuccessful spinal surgery and still don't move around to well, maybe Art can lend me his wheelchair to do some burn outs.

Not a fan of the northstar in any shape or form.
Show the cars, Bud,,,don't want to look at you as main attraction. Is this a commercial,,,,,
Great video, But I have to ask , Does Art own Casino's in his spare time ?
He owned/owns excavation/demo companies from what I remember.
