Courtney Hadwin Concert at South Tyneside Summer Festival - 28 July 2017 - Bents Park, South Shields

Just after the final of the Voice Kid UK (16 July 2017), Courtney was the opening act for the Sister Sledge at the South Tyneside Festival concert (Sunday 28 July 2017), where she sang to over 18,000 people.
During about 10 minutes, Courtney Hadwin perform "Peace Of My Heart" by Janis Joplin, "Shine A Light" by McFly and "Nutbush City Limits" by Tina Turner.
She received a rapturous reception for her support set, which ended with a stunning rendition of Tina Turner's Nutbush City Limits. It left compere Anna Foster from Radio Newcastle gobsmacked, and asking "Courtney, are you really 35 in disguise?"
And the presenter asked the crowd at Bents Park in South Shields: "Do we think this girl has a crazy, mad future ahead of her?", prompting huge cheers. Courtney's burgeoning talent was recognised again in November 2017, when she was named Performer of the Year at the Best of Hartlepool Awards [Sunderland Echo].

Super talented Courtney Hadwin (11) won the Best of Hartlepool's Performer of the Year Award last night for her incredible singing voice. Courtney had been shortlisted to the final three from the hundreds of applicants alongside a dancer and a girl band called Sparkle. Courtney said: "I cried when they announced me as the winner. I didn't think I had a chance of winning because the competition was so tough." The Heart radio presenter who presented the award commented to Courtney that as well as mentioning the winners on the radio this morning, he would probably be playing her music one day too. Courtney is also a finalist in the Beyond the Lights awards ceremony this Saturday. There is no stopping this girl! Best of luck. 2017: The Voice Kids UK
Hadwin blind-auditioned for The Voice Kids UK, where she performed Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits". She was picked by Judge Danny Jones, who became her mentor on the show. During the battle round, she performed "Dancing in the Street" against Eboni Green and Hollie Firmin. For her semifinal performance, she sang James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)". For her final performance on 16 July 2017, she sang the torch song "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from the Broadway musical Dreamgirls, before being eliminated as a finalist.
In January 2018, she sang in Southampton at an event for U-Support, raising funds for children with life-limiting illnesses and disabilities [Wikipedia].
Courtney Hadwin is an independent singer and songwriter.
She has released "Breakable", "Monsters", "That Girl Don"t Live Here", "Call Me Back" and "Christmas Rocks" in 2023. Her first album is in production right now and will be out this year.

This girl was born not only to be a great singer more than that she is a great performer.

I think it's what make the differrence. There are lots of great "voices" in the world... Courtney's voice and interpretation are incredible (her "Live Covers") but she is at her best on stage (her performance on "Pretty Little Thing").
