I'm actually in the middle of writing something of a memoir myself, but it's a fictionalized narrative. As in, it's my story but some bits are morphed, people are combined, etc. to make the story flow more easily, thus I don't call it a "memoir". So I know exactly what this lady is talking about. Memoirs don't need to be extremely noteworthy to everyone. My story is about how I met my husband on MySpace in 2006 when I was a teenager and how we eventually became a couple when I entered adulthood. So the story has a definitive end. If this lady's target is career driven women and the difficulty she had to face getting to that position, I don't see why it wouldn't be noteworthy to that demographic.
