Amtrak 281 should remain in this paint scheme as it was retired in as such. Hopefully the museum will open to the public soon. Id really like to see this locomotive running in person. Great video!

Running a F40PH long hood forward looks like a difficult thing to do.
From what the engine crew told me, it’s definitely something different.
@@GR10Productions that’s probably why one of the crew was standing on the rear walkway, because the engineer can’t see where he’s going.

Would have been nice to hear it scream at 900 rpms.
I know Phase 5 isn't okay for railfans, but I wish CSRM would repaint Amtrak F40PH 281 in Phase 5 after the pandemic is over and done with.
