I remember as a kid in the 1950's we use to play inside the grounds of George Washington Headquarters..My mother had an apartment across the street..I believe the apartment building is still there....Now I'm told it's cesspool there..From someone who still lives up there..

Nice video. Yes, there are many historic places in Newburgh, but the city as a whole, is bad. A lot of streets look like crack alley and getting worse. They really need to clean up the city if they want to sell it as a tourist spot. George Vreeland Hill
