All through my twenties I always picked the fastest bikes for enduro riding. 450's, 300 2 smokers. Had a massive off when I borrowed a friends bike and hit a tree head first. I haven't ridden in the bush for over 5 years. I miss it trail riding, but I'm over trying to be the quickest. I like the idea of these small lightweight 2 strokes and challenging myself with technical, almost trials style riding. Looks like a fun little weapon.
    Cheers from 🇭🇲

Oh wow, sounds like you were rather lucky. I'm so excited you're thinking to get our there riding again. I have to say these are amazing little weapons. Small but certainly insanely capable - especially when you throw something technical in their way! Keep me posted on what you end up getting.

Great review! I have a Husky TE125, so you can imagine the comments I get from people, yet my bike can do anything 300 bikes can, you just need to actually work your gears. The 150 must be just like a 125 but better. Thanks again, keep doing reviews and videos!

Great review, far better than the one I just did! I have a 18 TE150 and love the bike. I’m 195 lbs (89kg) and it works great for me. The terrain I ride in is quite a bit different though, mostly tight technical (I have lots of trail vids from Vancouver where I live). I’m contemplating replacing it with a 2020 TE150 or perhaps a TE250. You’re right about working the bike though. It’s not for lazy riders.

What did you end up doing? I just sold me 2018 TE150 that had a high comp head and Vforce4 reeds and man that bike RIPPED, I was so sad to see it go, but I just got home today with my 2022. $11,187 otd.... I sold my 2018 for $6500. so that hurt. But I just really like this TPI stuff. I have a 2020 250XC tpi and rode a 2019 300 XCW tpi before that. I don't know if ill get the top end out of this TPI that my carb 150 had but im hoping for a little more bottom end and mid a more linear power.

Excellent review and bike! I just got the 21 TE150i in the Fall - I was only able to get maybe 5 hours on it before winter, but OMG - it's so fun! You're so right in that you have to RIDE the bike, use all the gears, etc. So different to ride compared to my 12 200 xc-w and my husband's 19 TE300i (which was fun, but you can lug it around in 2nd gear on most tight, treed single track which doesn't make a better rider, lol!). Love all your videos, very helpful!

@@TheGirlOnABike A decision was taken and I am now the proud owner of a 2020 TE 150i :-) I am very happy with the bike performance, it is super fun to ride and it has plenty of power. My only concern is longevity. The engine failed and required a top-end rebuild after 25 hours of gentle use. The expenses were covered by the dealer, but this is not sustainable.

Great review. Congrats. I am lucky enough to have my own land to ride on and have decided to go 2 stroke again now they are so civilised (and because I am bored with 4 strokes). At first I thought just get a 250/300 but since looking into it in more detail via videos like yours, I have decided to get one of these 150's and a 250 as well but more and more I have a feeling that the 150 will be the one I take out the most and the 250 will be the one I lend to mates. I have a lot of tight technical woodland trails so outright speed is irrelevant.

Having the suspension set up for your weight is key. Also bear in mind it has a very narrow stand over width so a higher bike that's narrower can allow for a lower feel than a lower wide seat.

@@TheGirlOnABike I'm sorry, was genuine. Sorry I may have missed in video. Will re-watch. More specifically I was wondering about hills with a lot of loose rock about the size of a football.

@@DMobley232 I'd say it's an insanely capable bike. On bigger huge long hill climbs the smaller capacity being a 150 does mean you really really have to get it singing. Otherwise it's size and weight is more of an advantage for agility maneuvering

@@TheGirlOnABike Thanks. I do not get into any hills that are too long or that steep, so should work just fine. I am going from a 250 SX-F to this bike or considering anyways. Thanks for the review. It was GREAT!

I did some fact check as I know that KTM has better numbers on weight. www.ktm.com/ee/enduro/150-exc-tpi/
KTM 150 TPI 96.8kg vs TE 150i 99.6kg which is 2.8kg more weight. Mostly due linkage system I suppose.
Rear suspension travel KTM 310mm vs Husky 300mm. +1 for KTM
Ground clearance KTM 370mm vs Husky 360mm. +1 for KTM
So it seems that KTM is still with better specs and I would by KTM again ;)

Thanks dude. Strangely the official stats on the Husky and KTM website have changed since I filmed this... amazing how I bike can suddenly be heavier... doh. Anyway, I've added a 'updates since filming' note in the text to show what's changed. Thanks for highlighting too

Yeah I did say that...although it turns out I'm actually 169cm tall 🤷‍♀️ Haha I had to have my height pre this recent op. I've been thinking I'm taller than I am for years... Or I've shrunk 🤔

@@ronnie149 I can't speak for other countries but in the UK you do not need indicators on a bike, you just need a horn really. The trials bikes are road legal too with no lights [so a day time MOT]
