If you’re a fan of horror movies, then you’re a fan of John Carpenter. For the bulk of his career, he has stayed true to the genre. Like fellow directors George Romero, David Cronenberg, Wes Craven, and Dario Argento, John Carpenter seems to really enjoy making horror movies. Much has been written about his classic films like Halloween and The Thing. But today, we’re taking a closer look at one of my favorite John Carpenter films, the original 1980 version of The Fog and what we'd like to see from a sequel!

SHOW ME THE SEQUEL is written and narrated by Pat Q, edited by Lance Vlcek, Produced by John Fallon and Berge Garabedian is the Executive Producer.
SERIES SYNOPSIS: The focus of this show is all about genre films that either never got sequels and we feel it's long overdue, fine movies that did get sequels but they were so lackluster that going back to square one is a must, or... flicks that DO have sequels but hey, we want freaking MORE of them! On top of that, we put our pitch for what said sequel should be about!

The Fog is one of my favorite films. I like your idea for the sequel. Sounds scary. Good review.

Love this idea, I personally would love to see your pitch, BUT, infused as the prequel!

There's a sequel in comic form currently being released monthly, it's pretty good so far.

Question, how do the journal and picture in the locket survive salt water since this is major set up to your movie?

I would do that for the framework of a sequel. But the two male leads one would be the son of Elizabeth and the other his best friend. The best friend after finding the locket and placing it on Blakes wife thus making her become solid and alive again. The two would then fall in love . In which Leaving Blake on a jealous bloodlust rampage. Killing anyone close to the two leads.

Interesting ideas for a sequel, but I don't think it would do well. I do like The Fog quite a bit, but the ending is a downer. Its just a big build up to nothing, & just a shock ending that doesn't make much sense. They return the gold & they go away, only to show up & take out Father Malone. I've always been confused by that.
The atmosphere is top notch, & I like everything up until they barricade themselves in the church.

Hands down one of JC´s best scores along with Escape from New York.
Not sure i even want a sequel tbh. It´s perfect as it is.
btw : Nick and Elisabeth only find Dick Baxter in the Seagrass. Just saying.

    The remake was abysmal.
If I could do a remake, I would remake Prince of Darkness. It’s one of Carpenter’s best ideas but it was too far ahead of it’s time. And the make up on the woman was…. Pretty lame.

No sequel. It's fine the way it is. There are far Too many shitty sequels, prequels, reboots reimaginings already.
