Here's the marketing spiel I got on instagram, so you can judge for yourself whether or not I overreacted: "The characteristic of this pen is that it is a heavy, very professional glass pen. Not the same as a general glass pen. It feels smooth and feels comfortable. Holds enough ink to write at least one third of a full sized sheet of paper. When writing, the nib is comfortable and does not scratch the paper. Its texture is harder than the generally cheaper glass pen, it is not easy to break, (it is not easy to break compared to the general glass pen, but it does not mean it will not be broken) Of course, you can add more experience during your use. Because we believe that you are very professional." Now reading it again I feel like it's not such a big deal, people do this all the time, it seems like a common thing to do, but maybe I'm just desensitized to all the endless consumerism, product after product being crammed down our throats, each one having to be somehow better than the last one.
Seeing as one of they're claims was that it holds ink longer, I would've liked to see a head to head test against one of your other pens for ink capacity. One dip for each pen and write out the same long sentences with both and see which one runs out first.

My favorite glass pen is a blue Aolvo I got off Amazon. Perfectly smooth lines from all sides and great ink flow. I loved it so much I ordered one for my friend and it was a completely different animal, scratchy and only wrote on one side. I own 10 glass pens 2 antique and other from all different brands and price points and if there's one word I'd use to describe them its 'inconsistent'. You never know exactly how their going to write unless the person making them has tested each and every one and tells you before hand. Otherwise every glass nib is a mystery waiting to be uncovered.

That, my good sir, is a lignum aquae. It's an aquatic creature that originated on one of Jupiter's moons - Europa. It was first found by the crew of Juno-156 when they visited the natural satellite for the fifth time in 2135 AD. Many of your grandparents will remember what a tragedy it was when the news got back to Earth that Space X had lost touch with the crew, however, some of you may remember the launch of Demeter-1, the rescue mission: the next tragedy. Well, when the rescue crew of Demeter-1 arrived, they didn't find the five crew members of Juno-156, however, they did find their spaceship wreckage. It hadn't crashed, though it was certainly damaged - Space X and the Earth's Federal Government won't release the information on the type of damage though. According to Addendum 11-5 of the records of D-1's mission, when the crew had taken samples of the wreckage to try and determine what had happened to J-156, upon inspection, these little aquatic creatures slipped out. They had been hiding in the water tanks that were inside of the few sheets of metal the ship was comprised of. Three months later, D-1's vehicle had suffered a major fuel leak as they were re-entering Earth's atmosphere. The ship powered down when no more fuel was left, and you can piece together what had happened after that. They managed to recover the J-156 samples from the D-1 wreckage that had landed in the Atlantic Ocean, but no lignum aquae. The creatures have been recorded to survive well in saline water, so they did extremely well in our oceans. Here's the information I have dug up on these creatures: - They like to nibble at fish: their mouths are so small and precise that they can nibble away at a fish for hours on end and the fish won't notice until they have a sizeable hole in their torso. - They specifically like tuna: this explains the canned-tuna story. Some manage to burrow their way into the fish, and so when the tuna fish gets caught, they end up staying and getting canned along with them. - They do in fact get colder when cooked: they can be fished using a net, and their body is such a bad insulator that heat escapes too quickly for us to process, and so we feel that they are cold by the time that they hit our plates. - They are very similar to worms and squid: due to how they don't have a brain, and moreso have nerves running throughout their body, when cut up, it can take a while for their body to stop sending signals through their nerves, thus giving the illusion of their 'dismembered' body being alive. - They are indeed comprised of congealed gelatinous substances: this is why they don't have a brain - their nervous system is the only thing keeping them together. - They don't have vocal cords: rather than 'screeching' (as one story put it) the appendages on their 'head' vibrate at just the right speed as their body opens up to allow air through it, imitating a high-pitched 'screech'. That's all I know for now.
Same here..unfortunately I realized that it would be one of those what I think I look like, what i actually look like situations except with a pen and writing and drawing 🤦♂️
Looking at this pen compared to ones I have used and your other glass pens, my observations are: 1. I like the relatively large size and long, wide, smoothly graduated and ergonomically shaped section. It looks comfortable to hold and grip securely without fatigue. Many glass pens are too small or not comfortable to grip. The nice grip might be further improved by frosting/etching so it is less slippery, but it is quite pretty as it is. 2. I think the clear glass knob on the rear tip is for balance. Again, I think it would be unusually (for a glass pen) comfortable to grip for writing or drawing. 3. The reservoir (combined groove volume in tip) looks to be in the higher range for typical glass pens. The nib is large and the swirl adds more. 4. I like the design of the swirl and wonder if it significantly moderates the flow to be steadier and last longer. Points #3 and 4 could be tested by comparing how long a dip load lasts in this pen vs some other designs. From my distance, I think "lying" is a bit strong, especially since English is probably not the first language of the writer. But I can see why it annoyed you. Re the creature whose likeness you captured, it appears adapted to the moist, shadowed entrances of caves, where its bioluminescent tendrils, which attract its prey, can be displayed without drying out. It may lurk among those famous cave glowworms and snack on the slow ones, both for nutrition and for luminescent bacteria recharging. And maybe for recreation. The large secretory tubercles produce a fluid with digestive enzymes to break down its prey for absorption. Ok here’s my story for this creature, The government discovered a new species that looked like it should be underwater but existed on the cloud forests on the tips of mountains. It’s lighted bulbs in the top of its head were moist with poison. They added chemicals and put it in different climates for its reaction. It didn’t react to anything except for noodlers ink. It mutated into a black creature and its long bulbs grew longer more poisonous. When it breathed its flesh opened to reveal a maze of perfect lines and waves. It’s grew and grew. Seemed to never stoped growing. But, no matter how big, how poisonous, or how moist. It was the sweetest creature ever and was very gentle with every living thing he saw. If it trusted you enough it would flip over to reveal belly for you to rub it. Years went by and it was soon being sold as a popular outside pet. The species was called the “Orangutink”.

If it trusted you enough it would flip over to reveal belly for you to rub it. Years went by and it was soon being sold as a popular outside pet. The species was called the “Orangutink”.

Souls player you are savage
I have all notifications for UA-cam turned off, but I had a tingling sense that there was a new Peter video up... And here I am ;) howdy Peter
“Hello, i am Tom marvello riddle” is what i thought he was gunna say
Omfg I literally checked the comments to see if I wasn't alone in this
Or harry potter lol. I hated that scene
Kelsey Taylor nope it was just so perfect for it!
I swear I was really hoping that's what he was about to write, but I knew it would be too good to be true lol glad I'm not the only one though
I loved it when you used the stickers, that made my heart happy.
The ball end could be for balance.
There was something about the angle or something, I expected it to start writing back to you, like the journal in Harry Potter
Peter Draws’ pen reviews help me get to sleep on restless nights. Usually the third one does it.
Downside, or maybe plus side is: two days later one or two pens arrive from Amazon.
I don’t recall ordering them, but they are usually good pens.
Peter Draws is my Ambien of choice.
Kind of like amst
I wanna find the guy that commented about the orangutang
Your drawing....absolutely amazing! Can’t stop watching you draw it. The fact that it’s just coming out like a geyser of creativity all the while you’re talking about the pen, the sender, people who brag about their products, options you give ppl/companies interested in advertising on your channel, etc etc. Just awesome stuff. Cheers. Love your art.
The reason why someone asked you to write orangutan is it’s a really good word to write in cursive, it hits all the big cursive marks
Lol
Peter really is the gift that keeps on giving
Proof he will still be Peter Draws tomorrow 👍
And the next day.
Really the epitome of wholesomeness.
My guy pronounces the W in drawing 😂
Really enjoy your videos. Im not even into pens. I like that there are no jump cuts and that you speak naturally in more or less, one cut. Editing is smooth and the way you speak with some comedic value thrown in is very entertaining. Thank you.
Your pen collection looks like my Harry Potter wand collection.
when you put stickers on your face, you made my day. thank you xD
when you started putting on the stickers on your face. i subbed and died laughings
It looks like a chicken that can't be killed, that many people have tried to kill.
Type R lmao
Yes that’s what I see too!!
I have no idea what the hell you're drawing but I really like your style
Watching your timelapse drawing was really a treat and so calming! Moreover, listening to your voice was the cream of the cup during such a calming session!
That is the most Cuthulu thing i've ever seen
GOOD LORD DAT DRAWING. IT WAS SATISFYING AND BEAUTIFUL. It looks like one of Old Ones :D
The area 51 raid thing is actually in about a month on September, so you're in luck, it has not passed by
yes, please show up and draw the absolute *SLAUGHTER* as morons rush the fence and guard shack and her Mowed down by machine gun Fire The Artistic Splotches of Blood and gore painting the desert floor will be spectacular
@@rickcoona8368 Yeah because the army is really going to open fire give me a break. I don't think this raid is going to happen either but if some stupid people took it seriously hypothetically.... Which is always a possibility, because there are always stupid people, uh, they're just going to put up a blockade or something they're not going to shoot anybody unless the people are actually shooting back or something insane.
Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming.....
...... four dead in Ohio
@@rickcoona8368
i could barely comprehend what you were saying, it's about as orderly as a bunch of chinese bandits during war
It’s usually “draa-uhng ” but he says “draa-wing” and I love it.
When the fuck is it draa-uhng???
Adequately Trying that’s how it’s pronounced. Look it up (the American pronunciation)
The "Unknows" you writed in the end, turns this draw into an higher level!
Okay that drawing is insane. I wish I find my talent soon 😭
I didn't even know glass pens were a thing until just now. No idea why youtube showed me this but I learnt stuff today😅
Dude for real though
That's the thing that I as a kid would imagine would reach through the drain in the bathtub when my momma let the bath water drain.
I swear I'm not into drawing, I was studying music production, ended up here, subscribed, it is so satisfying to watch the sped up drawing at 5:25, especially with the voice over. It is so relaxing.
Pen doesn't draw itself, what makes the pen amazing and works well is your amazing hand work + imagination. Our mind is adaptable to make things work weather the pen is bad or good. Pro or not, You make the pen works well with your skills. . I enjoy watching this THANKS
Me: Should I watch a video about a pen?
Also me: Should I pick up doodling as a hobby?
do it
Doodle it
Peter: *puts stickers on his face*
Me: ......*👍*
Do a drawing asmr. I love the sounds of the pen when it meets the paper. So satisfying.
He has other videos besides this one. Go check.
Beth Da Girl
His voice is perfect.
His voice is the best lullaby especially when you lower the volume at night. Very calm ♡
Completely did not expect you to stick those stickers on your face @1:49! Plus those smirks! 😆🤣🤣
Ahh love the new hair cut my dude
Speaking of orangutan - we in Australia have "Sorry Ranga Day" a day that is set aside to apologise to redheads or 'rangas' for making fun of their red/ginger hair.
MELODY MUNRO Australia is the gift that keeps on giving.
With all the red dirt it seems odd that you would talk bad about anything red. I came across an Aussie doing a Bob Ross style painting. Lots of red in the painting, it was pretty funny
I wish I lived in Australia

I started watching for the review but kept watching for the drawing. I hope all your videos end like this. Seriously, if they all do this, I’m subscribing now.
If you have seen lots of washing powder adverts you may conclude that the early ones must have been adding dirt to the wash, because every subsequent detergent is SO much better! I don't have a glass pen but I do find them lovely to look at, I just like glass!
"Today I am Peter Draws"
Well r u Peter Paints tomorrow teehee
Today, you are Peter Draws- tomorrow who knows who you'll be?
I don't know how I feel about the pen, but I do know how I feel about Peter with 💕 stickers on his face! 🥰
I think we share that special feeling
You two should date
@@zebruh2794 lol
@@zebruh2794 I don't know if you mean Erica and Peter, Peter and I, Erica and I or all three but I am 100% up for whichever
🙂
*this video is as relaxing as an asmr.*
this video heavily inspired my art style for like about a year, thank you for that!!!
I come here to watch you draw.. it relaxes me. On top of being superb, it’s so satisfying… thank you ♥️♥️♥️
I only watch to see you scratch your face in the beginning of video.
Also love the stickers-ridden face 💖
The last part of the video is like a David-Attenborough-narrated documentary series focusing on the flora and fauna of The Old Fishing Hamlet
This guy's voice sounds like a tranquilized Tom green, cool drawings tho
Literally what I just commented.
I can barely draw
I didn’t know I loved fountain pens until UA-cam suggested you
Thanks for what you do
I find your drawings absolutely fascinating
Love the style of tentacle like syfy feel
Reminds me of the ocean like coral reef or jellyfish
This guy sounds like Robert California from the office. Change my mind.
I was thinking like the nexus6 from blade runner
I like your pfp
Yes! I couldn't think who it was I was reminded of!
“that’s my grandpa.”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
this man has the same energy as Shane from Buzzfeed Unsolved
you should do the next drawing your feelings episode with this pen
This video has been on my suggested feed for about five months with me never looking at it. Now that I realize that video is from one of my new favorite creators I feel bad that I didn't watch this back then ;3;
