Patience is my favorite song/video by them. Gary sings it like no other could, and the harmonies between all of them are tops. 6:45 with the cords running and them seemingly at the edge of the world - I'm sure it's a bunch of symbolic meaning as this being their first release together after a decade
Relight my fire is always a tour highlight! Please check out the Circus live (especially The Garden and Shine). A couple of others have said already but Give Good Feeling at Wembley well worth watching 👀🔥I love TT with Robbie so enjoy their reunion performances too - they look so happy together again.
So glad you are reacting to Take That 😃 The show I enjoy watching the best is Take That - Kidz (Progress live) . The breakdance dance off between Jason and Howard is amazing, Robbie is rapping and the production is stunning!
You’re a Thatter now, and you are very welcome to the fan base! There are whispers of a new album and tour next year, after a three year gap... if there is, you should DEFINITELY come over and experience them live; amazing show, amazing atmosphere in every venue (including the now obligatory pre-show Mexican wave), and amazing fellow fans... you will love it!
Love this! I have watched a lot of their old live shows lately (purely for research purposes) and I would love you to see these: Relight My Fire - Live in Manchester. Jaw-dropping outfits and great dance moves😀 What Is Love - Take That Presents: The Circus Live. It's like theatre - wonderful to watch (and their harmonies are beautiful). The Clown Medley - The Circus Live. This follows the above performance but much more upbeat! A medley of their earlier hits including Do What U Like. Hilarious! The Flood - Progress Live. Reunion tour with Robbie.
Love that you have discovered Take That. You have the best reactions on You Tube imo. Cannot wait for the live reactions, their shows are amazing. Can I please suggest Never Forget or The Flood from Progress Live? The whole Take That Presents: The Circus show is also spectacular. My personal highlights are Shine and The Garden. Relight My Fire is often the finale and they go all out! I love the Progress tour version because I am a huge Robbie fan and he sings Lulu's part. Also the Hometown concert version is great to watch (if you know, you know) ;-) :-D
Another recommendation (sorry I'm excited 😂) - Take That on the X Factor singing The Flood. This was first time they performed reunited with Robbie. You can hear the nerves in Robbie's voice at the start but his confidence builds and builds....it still gives me the shivers now.
The Relight live performances from Hometown, Nobody Else, Ultimate Tour, and Circus Live are all fantastic, camp filled spectacles. Any live performance of Shine is always a showstopper but especially the ones from the Circus Live and Progress Live. Also, I’m so happy you are getting deep into this band and appreciating them and I’m really looking forward to your reactions to the live shows- could I make a request while you’re on this Take That deep dive to look into Mark Owen’s solo music? Because he’s incredibly talented and he tends to be overshadowed by Robbie and Gary and there’s a lot of us out there who’d appreciate that.
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude Oh please do! Mark and Robbie are my favorite solo artists from this band. "Child" "How do You Love" "Believe In The Boogie" "Carnival" and "Clementine" are all wonderful songs. "Confused" is also a favorite of mine but it doesn't have an official video like the others I mentioned. Also as far as live performances go, "Shine" (another Mark Owen song) is a great choice. I can't WAIT until you give him a listen.
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude that would be amazing! I would love you to do "Believe in the Boogie" "Four Minute Warning", "Stars"...and for a completely different vibe "S.A.D" (feat. Ren Harvieu) - the vocals in this song are beautiful. He released a new song yesterday which I also love called "You Only Want Me", but no official video as yet.
Here are some live performance recommendations: Take That - Relight My Fire (Hometown - Live In Manchester) ft. Lulu. Take That - Give Good Feeling (Take That And Party Live) Hilarious! Take That Present: The Circus Live - What Is Love Take That - Ultimate Tour - Apache 2006 Take That - The Flood (Progress Live)
As a fan of both the Barry Manilow and Donna Summer versions of Could it Be Magic from the late 70's, Take That choosing to cover this in the early 90's was rather ambitious. Props to Robbie for a respectable rendition.
When they were at their peak of popularity gender roles were still very strict. Growing up I wasn't really allowed to like a boy band so I had to do it secretly to not get hounded as a young boy. I'm so glad I'm an adult now and can bump Take That in my car and no one cares. They were and are such talents. And you did relight my fire! Such an amazing track.
"Pray, it's like a fragrance commercial" 😆😂 You're quite right. It's very "Eternity Calvin Klein" and looks as if it could have been directed by Herb Ritts. Btw, loving the classic Take That vids 💗💗💗
If you do a live performances video for Take That, you MUST do The Flood live on X-Factor 2010 - It's their first TV performance with Robbie coming back, and it's soooooo good :)
Could It Be Magic- this was what grabbed the attention of my 12-year-old self and 30 years later I still buckle at the hotness in this video! I recall the girl at the beginning and end was a competition winner. And her putting on her dummy chain just sends me right back to having my dummies on back in the day (I’m sure I still have them in the TT memorabilia box in the attic!) and it being this massive thing at school at the time! Robbie is other-worldly beautiful in this (they all are, but Robbie … 🤤🤤🤤🤤), though my heart is happy knowing that 50-year-old Mark Owen still has that dolphin tattoo on his hip🐬 Patience - the symbolism of them all being apart then joining together at the end still chokes me up! I remember being late for work the day this video was released as I couldn’t bear to miss it❤️ Such an amazing song and video and just brings back happy memories of those first exciting months when they returned❤️❤️❤️ Pray - hot! Relight My Fire - not my favourite song of theirs by a long way, but the video is just 🤤And Lulu is epic!!!!! Just reminds me of how amazing 1993 was and having TT literally everywhere that whole year! Time machine please!! I’m so thrilled you want to venture into their live performances because they are truly one of the greatest live acts ever! What would be soooo cool (whether you did it just for yourself or as a reaction) would be to go through each tour in turn to see how the music and performances developed over the years! The order is: Take That: The Party Everything Changes Tour Hometown (Live at GMex) Nobody Else Tour (first without Robbie and last before the split) The Ultimate Tour (the reunion - it still melts me!) Beautiful World Tour The Circus (most people agree this was the greatest tour they ever did! Absolutely mindblowing! The clown section is one of the most memorable things I’ve ever see live. If you’re going to do individual live songs then checking if they performed them on this tour is definitely the best place to start!) Progress Live (Robbie’s back!) Take That Live 2015 (first as a trio) Wonderland Live Greatest Hits Live They’ve done sooooooo many amazing performances over the years it’s hard to pick any out, though their performance at the London Olympic closing ceremony was really beautiful due to Gary’s sad circumstances at the time but he got on stage and broke everyone’s hearts all the same🥺 And glad to see you say elsewhere that you’re going to look into Mark’s solo work! You won’t be disappointed❤️
I love their early music videos because as you said, it looks so freeing and they are just having so much fun it looks like. Their music is either really fun or beautifully sad sung with great vocals. ♥️
You are a treat. 💕 I'm nearly sixty and i cried when Take that split up.😂 They were beautiful young men, showing their lovely bodies, whilst singing great tunes....and what is wrong with that?? Enjoy..xx
I remember someone taking there life when robbie left. So when the band broke up they opened up the helplines through the samaratans to speak to fans who were in bits. I was so upset in constant tears that I got sent home from work because I was inconsoluble. When they got back together it was the best day of my life and there still going strong but as a threesome now. Although they will welcome back both robbie and Jason with open arms when ever they want.
For the Relight my Fire live performance I know a lot of people are suggesting the one from the Circus Tour (it's absolutely grandiose with lots of dancers and an impressive stage direction) but I would suggest one from the 90s as it was just the 5 of them being care free, wild and dancing like nobody's watching, which to me as always been more on point with this particular song. So I would either suggest the live performance from the Hometown tour or the one from Live in Berlin. Take care
Back in the late 90s/ early 00s we had a boy band called A1 that were quite popular over here in UK too. I think you'd like them 🙂 I suggest watching their videos in these 2 groups A: Summertime of our lives Be the first to believe Ready Or Not Everytime B: Same old brand new you Caught in the middle No more Make it good
My mum got us tickets for Gary Barlow a few years ago and I didn't know much about Take That so I thought it would be an ok gig, but it was genuinely the best show I've ever been to. He's such a gifted vocalist, writer and performer.
Can I just say u have made my evening, thank you so much for these reactions, I just found you and have so far watched both Robbie compilations, the Flood, Kids and now both Take That ❤️
Loud and proud 'Take That' fan right here. I will never apologise for loving these boys. Still love them now, although Robbie is my heart. Love that you love it, and yeah, ambiguity was embraced at this time, it was like, just be. Awesome reaction, made me happy, thank you.
Fun, fun, fun. Also, don't try and trick us young man... we all know good and well why you paused the vid to 'read' Mark Own's crop top! Busted!! Lol. My crush was always Jason Orange (the guy in the shower scenes in Relight My Fire) but they were all pretty hot, to be honest. Combine that with really great songwriting and vocals, and they were unstoppable. Thanks for Ep2.
ua-cam.com/video/_uKomUCh_CE/v-deo.html You might enjoy this although its not really a vid to review. They appeared on Breakfast TV back in the day and did a routine with the regular keep fit expert called Mad Lizzie. It's a really cute vid.
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude Mark's teenage daughters wanted crop tops and he showed them pictures of him wearing them back in the day. Put them right off crop tops!
Your post just brightened my day !!! I got to fall in love with them while watching the video Could You be Magic and my favourite of theirs is Relight my Fire ! So I let you imagine how extatic I was while watching you reacting to it !!! As for the live, I would recommend you to watch a video from each decade to really get what Take That live is - and their dynamics at 5 then 4, then 3.
I love your smile and your energy.🥰 I'm glad to see 'Patience' here. It's so beautiful and one of my favourite TT songs and videos (they are gorgeous and they look so elegant here).🥺 When it comes to 'Relight My Fire', I recommend the performance from 'Beautiful World Tour' (2007/2008, I guess).🤩 I know you want to react to live performances but 'Shine' and 'When We Were Young' official videos are great too.😉
"Could It Be Magic" was first a hit by Barry Manilow in 1975 (No. 6 in U.S., co-written by Barry, a great live performance on TV's "Midnight Special"). Barry came out publicly in 2015, but had been with his partner/now husband since 1978. I also recommend Barry's songs "Copacabana" (No.8, a couple different great live performances from 1978 available on UA-cam), "Mandy" (1974, No. 1, a great performance on the U.K. TV show "Top of the Pops") and "It's a Miracle" (No. 12 in 1975, a great live performance from the same "Midnight Special" show where he is wearing a long-sleeve pink shirt with tons of sparkly sequins. How did we NOT know he was family?!? :-) ) Barry is kinda nerdy and kitschy, but he has a terrific voice and is a terrific songwriter and piano player. His devoted fans are called "Fanilows." There's a fun 2003 episode of the TV sitcom "Will and Grace," in which Jack and Karen and W&G camp out on the sidewalk to wait in line to buy Barry Manilow concert tickets. :-)
Take That videos are very much like Kylie videos - they know their audience and cater to them very well. Love relight my fire - just when you think it couldn't get any gayer (with them blatantly being in a LGBTQ+ club) out comes Lulu - total icon.
The think you have to remember is Take That really only consists of three vocalists. Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, and Mark Owen. Howard Donald and Jason Orange were added primarily as dancers. Hence all the thirst trap stuff. They were mainly there as eye candy. But over time they were trained to sing along with the vocals and did pretty good.
I wasn't aware of that. Funny because I love Howard's vocals on "Mancunian Bay" and just figured he was chosen for his raspy voice. I had no idea it was because they were dancers
Over time, Howard developed into a competent singer and is known for his harmonies and backing vocals, though he carries being a good lead too. He has a soothing voice. Jason, the weaker of the two, did a bit of harmony on Keeping me Up All night, which was decent and also has a pleasant voice, though not very strong when live. He’s my favourite dancer though and has such an insightful personality - I love listening to him in interviews. Miss him but thank God for UA-cam so I can back to all his old interviews :) Anyway, I digress…❤
Howard became the Harmony King. I find it a bit funny that Howard's signature is the high harmonies over the melody, and Mark, who is noticeably shorter than Howard, takes the low harmonies. Now that they're a trio, you can really pick out their individual voices when they sing.
Lulu had some great songs in the 90s as well. Especially "Independence". Also Hurt me so bad, Better get ready, Let me wake up in your arms, Goodbye and Amen, There has got to be a way, Every woman knows. Very good dance songs! I don't know if there are music videos from all of these songs ❤️
I think you’d get a huge kick out of the music video of “Happy Now”. It has quite a few famous faces in it (including James Corden) and it’s hilarious. Oh, and if you’re going to watch live performances you MUST do Never Forget. The one from their Beautiful World tour is my favorite but they’re all pretty epic.
My fave take that songs are I've found heaven Sure Relight my fire Greatest day Please react to these if you haven't already 🙌🏻 your reactions are so fab! X
Their album ‘beautiful world’ which is where patience is taken from is one of my favourite albums. I love the more ‘grown up’ sound. I love Pray so much, my favourite live version is from the beautiful world tour. 😍 Your reaction to Relight is brilliant. ❤️ Xx
I have always loved a man that can dance and Take That always danced the first song they were very young,Gary Barlow the lead singer most of the time wrote a lot of their songs, they split up and got back together yes later, Gary went solo for a while very talented, but always a good group
Could It Be Magic was the 1st single that came out after I became a fan and my 1st single of theirs I bought. I saw your face at the close up shot of the dolphin tattoo that belongs to Mark Owen
During lock down Gary Barlow did a fab thing called the Lock Down Sessions, dueting with many other artist, tis good for the soul and think you would love it, I suggest you have a look 🌟
Yeah- Gaz just went through his address book- didn't involve agents at all. One of the best ones was Gary and Howard singing a Beatles song, and Gary's duet with Donny Osmond (of all people!)
Live performances: Shine from the Progress Tour -segues into Robbie doing Let Me Entertain You, also worth it for the crowd’s reaction. Pray - lots of boyband dancing. And my personal fave, Could it Be Magic at the 1992 Smash Hits Poll Winners Party Awards show. Not strictly live, and the footage is a bit crap, but I fell in love with the then 18yo Robbie (and I was WAY too old for a boyband). Had just broken up with a fella and was feeling sorry for myself. By the time the song ended, I’d forgotten his name…
Take That went from a 5 member group to a 3 member group, Robbie was the first to leave then Jason. Robbie has done shows with the remaining 3 in recent years
Gary was really developing as a songwriter by this stage of their career, great vocalist too. Have you seen his tv debut on the song for Christmas contest in the mid ‘80s? Pray is a nipples fest lol, Howard had one of his pierced then lol. Tweak that 🔴 👌 😂 I don’t know whether Lulu was first choice for guest vocalist on Relight My Fire, guessing they used unknowns on live performances 🤷♂️ but the song certainly revived her career too, she even did a somewhat cringey Christmas advert for Morrisons supermarket lol. Gary appeared on Jonathan Ross’s chat show here in the UK and told a hilarious anecdote about throwing up in Lulu’s bathroom! 🤮 😂
Anyone else think Spice Girls ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ is a female version of Take Thats ’Relight My Fire’ music video?! I grew up with both bands and that what came to mind the first time I saw the Spice Girls video! I mean, even Lulu was in both!
Great Reaction as usual, Thank you. Can't wait for your Take That live reaction. Please could you do a reaction to James Arthur. Love your channel keep up the good work.
Warning : one live performance of Relight my fire got complsined about as I think it was the tall guy Howard was showing too much bare backside. Get ready with the smelling salts lol

Wow, thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. ❤
I love your smile and your energy.🥰
I'm glad to see 'Patience' here. It's so beautiful and one of my favourite TT songs and videos (they are gorgeous and they look so elegant here).🥺
When it comes to 'Relight My Fire', I recommend the performance from 'Beautiful World Tour' (2007/2008, I guess).🤩
I know you want to react to live performances but 'Shine' and 'When We Were Young' official videos are great too.😉
Thank you so much!!
@18:00 Re ... Eeee eee. light my fire. Lulu dropped key change and it was so my disco stuff. x
Live wise, would love to see you react to a couple of songs from their 'Progress' tour - Patience and The Flood would be my choices :)
Second that!
He did The Flood a while back
Yes the flood at the progress tour was unreal amazing its definitely a must watch
@@timebandito4278 it was the music video tho live is a million times anazing
Why is it every take that video you say "oh I didn't mean to pause on that shot"
🤨🤔🧐 We are on to you! 😂🤣😂🤣☺️
😂😂😂
Worth watching Gary and Howard’s duet in Gary’s Crooner Sessions called ‘Amazing’. Howard sounds amazing! ua-cam.com/video/mAp2_LOFVcw/v-deo.html
Howard became the Harmony King. I find it a bit funny that Howard's signature is the high harmonies over the melody, and Mark, who is noticeably shorter than Howard, takes the low harmonies. Now that they're a trio, you can really pick out their individual voices when they sing.
The Relight My Fire live performance video of the Odyssey tour is my favourite BY FAR. Mostly because Lulu's appearance is a real moment.
Could it be magic is so different to the original by Barry Manilow. I like both
Lulu had some great songs in the 90s as well. Especially "Independence". Also Hurt me so bad, Better get ready, Let me wake up in your arms, Goodbye and Amen, There has got to be a way, Every woman knows. Very good dance songs! I don't know if there are music videos from all of these songs ❤️
Pls watch 2010, performance when Robbie rejoined temporarily doing “Back for Good””.
Patience is from the only album I was interested in. The whole thing is great.
You should definitely also check out “Cry” by Take That feat. Sigma! One of their onliest featuring songs!
I adore Lulu especially 'To Sir, with Love' the film and the song.
Loving your Take That reactions 😊♥️🇬🇧
Thanks for being so kind to them and their songs.
I really love these guys! Thank you for watching! 😊
Your reaction to the shirtless scenes was hilarious 😂
Love your reactions! I quite enjoy Pray and Relight My Fire. I’m glad you’re enjoying their music and videos. 😊
Thank you!
I was fanatical about Take That in my early twenties. I could never choose between Rob or Mark (the little blonde one who sings Babe).
I recommend Said It All and Shine!
Mark's tattoo Could it be Magic video at 3:16 still does things to me 😂
We Boogie Believers LIVE for a glimps of the dolphin! 🐬🐬
Love your TT reactions!
I went to their “beautiful world” tour. They’re so good live!
My fave take that songs are

So easy to become a fan… even when we are decades late! 😆 ❤
Their album ‘beautiful world’ which is where patience is taken from is one of my favourite albums. I love the more ‘grown up’ sound.
I love Pray so much, my favourite live version is from the beautiful world tour. 😍
Your reaction to Relight is brilliant. ❤️
Xx
Thank you for watching! ❤️
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude most welcome xx
If you do a part 3 (non-live), I’d recommend: Sure, Shine, I Found Heaven and Kidz.
I would add to that: It Only Takes A Minute..
Yes Shine is a must ❤️
I would add The Greatest Day to that list too.
Please react to Relight my fire on the Circus Tour!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the recommendations! 😂
Also, for more abs, Howard’s are on full display in ‘It only takes a minute’. Also checkout Carpool Karaoke - which mentions Howard’s nude photo….
I believe they were told to cater to the 'Pink pound'
Could It Be Magic (Int'l version) in Beautiful World Tour was ... superbe. The version of this song was another level. Perfection. Enjoy it!
Take That went from a 5 member group to a 3 member group,
Robbie was the first to leave then Jason.

09:50 "I don't know what sound to expect from them"
Man, you should watch Take that feat. Sygma - Cry
You'd be surprised
Barry Manillow sang could it be magic first but after hearing this cover started doing this version instead of his own
The live performances of "Pray" are a religious experience.
Always a great moment, my favourite song when Live, Patience is my all time fave but pray live is on another level
My personal fav.
Mark's crop top was so controversial 😄.
Wasn't it?! lol
Welcome to the Take That fan club 😂😎
May I suggest you have a listen to Sam Ryder, his voice is magic ✨️ especially live.
I reccomend you some songs from Westlife. :-) 👍
