  • In this video I show how to locate and eliminate and active ground wasp nest using tempo dust, not only is tempo dust amazing and eliminating the ground wasp and all other species of wasp and hornets it’s also great and leaving a trail to follow to help aid in locating the nest underground. Just follow the white powder trail till you find the nest. As always please like and subscribe to stay up to date with new uploads.

Bro you are a freaking gangster!!! I cant believe your so calm doing this. I can handle bees but its impossible for me to remain calm around one wasp. You have my complete respect. I just moved into a new place and there is a large population of red wasp. I cant even come home through my font door without being attacked. My mom found an underground red paper wasp nest around 10 ft from my front door but i havnt actually located the entrance yet. Im too scared to try to find the entrance during the day or night. Red paper wasp are the most aggressive wasp I've ever encountered. And Ill probably end up paying some one to come out and exterminate them. Thank you so much for sharing your videos!!

I've always used my own technique in getting rid of underground yellowjacket nests: 1) Wait until it gets dark outside. 2) Dump about a half pint of solvent into the entrance hole. (Paint thinner, kerosine, gasoline and especially acetone work well) 3) Shovel dirt over the hole. 4) Crack open a beer and head home. Problem solved. No more yellowjackets.

Tempo is the way to go for yellowjackets. It’s a nice and easy kill that does not piss them off like drione. I have had to go and cleanup a few this week that other companies were not successful at. Just because you see the entrance does not mean the colony is right there. Each one was 12 inches or more away from the entrance. I would be interested in you sending me some specimens and comb so I can preserve them in resin. I have a function in April and may and needs lots of specimens. Holler if your interested. I can cover shipping ;)

Depending on location, have you considered taking an aerosol can of some alcohol or hydrocarbon based stuff, light a lighter in front of it and blowtorch one of those nests? They are paper. When I was in high school a friend of mine and I kept being attacked by some flying insects and we used a blowtorch method. I think we used his mother's hairspray which used alcohols and propane as solvents and propellants. Their wings immediately burned off and they hit the ground.

I've been on a watching binge due to the fact I think I have a Bald hornet nest under a sofa my sister decided to put on the front porch. So I cant see anything but where they have attached the nest to the cushion. So I'm trying to figure out how to open the couch and deal with them. I found the gorilla spray adhesive the most satisfying thing on you tube because it stopped the threat. The duct tape was also pretty good. I have some aluminum tape I may go with. But I'm curious about the suite. I'm no bee keeper and all of the suite video are dudes with bee's. Apparently not many people keep hornets, but there are a few nuts out there. Rumor has it they kill spiders so that's a plus, but they also swarm people so there it goes. So a video on your protective gear may help you out. They are not cheap so buying one hornets can sting through would suck.

Delta dust doesn't really have a knockdown effect at all, Tempo is a little more expensive but it gets to work fast, if nothing else it will save you time on a job, I wouldn't even use delta if I am digging a nest up to be honest, either tempo or if you can afford it drione.
I hope business picks up for you man, keep working at it, it can take years to build a successful youtube channel and business.

Don't get me wrong, I like your videos.
    However....
Advertisers want "family friendly" content, and I think when you began killing the wasps the way you do instead of trying to center around being both more informative and humane in how you go about the removals (like you were in the beginning), that's what caused advertisers to start pulling away from your channel. It's sad that creators now have to cater to the possibility that "kids might watch this" in order to make a decent profit from their content.

    • @stevemac6707

It's a fair point, possibly Patreon might be the way forward. I would rather the style didn't change because it's the whole reason why I prefer this channel to say for example Hornet King. His swearing, saying what he thinks, squashing wasps and being down to earth is the whole reason I love the content.

    • @vhenan2341
      @vhenan2341 2 роки тому

@@stevemac6707 The part that makes that entire concept legitimately laughable, however, is the hypocrisy of what my comment represents since the whole thing is about maintaining a more "safe viewing experience for children."
However, if it's all done for the sake of being "family friendly" that raises a whole other slew of issues and questions....
They try to make you believe this is true, yet channels centered around finding and exposing pedophiles as well as rooting out the cesspools where they've managed to exploit and violate children for their own demented pleasure; THOSE channels are being targeted and given strikes against their channels over ridiculous things in order to scare them into not only censoring the pedo's face/name (even when they've shown sufficient evidence of such acts from these individuals) or stop creating such content all together.
How exactly can _this_ sort of content (wasp hunter's) losing profits be justified when their other sort of suspiciously nefarious and downright disturbing behavior behind the scenes speaks volumes about how they _truly_ operate, and you can't help but question what else they might be hiding behind such a blatantly obvious facade?
      Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

    • @stevemac6707

I totally agree, UA-cam is a joke now and it's mostly the little channels that lose out from all this new crap which does little to hurt the real offenders or if it's a big money making channel for UA-cam, things are overlooked or forgiven that would get punished on the smaller ones.
