Thank you for this support. I'm 82 this year and have had a stroke and a blood clot. Lived alone for 30 plus years. I used to swim and walk everyday. YOUR exercises really helps. You guys are earth angels. It's so helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for using that lady...I am a little smaller than her, not much, so gives me encouragement. I need to do this daily. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
Thank you so much for all your thoughtfulness in these videos. I’m 60 years young and had a TKR 5 months ago. I was “successfully released” from PT at 10 weeks because I was at zero extension and 125 degrees flexion, and completed all their requirements, but I want to do more than simply walk in our house and errands. I want to return to doing more things that I enjoy. I ran track at a D1 University and at one time very active in a variety of sports. Now, I’m doing nothing. I didn’t have my patella replaced but it had a lot of decay I had extensive damage to the femur. I can’t kneel as per my doctor so I’ve been trying your videos and hoping this will help me add more strength over time so I can get back to enjoying life.
Hello Alyssa. I just did this entire video in a walker! At least I moved as much as possible, even using my tip toes when necessary. My Piriformis, Psoas are so tight that I cannot walk. I see a medical massage therapist but they can't seem to release the muscle no matter how hard they press. Would you have exercises for the glutes I could use in a chair? I just love your videos. You are in such great shape which is a perfect example for all watching. I'm 68 and all crunched up. No arthritis, just tight muscles. Thanks for all you do...God Bless You.
Both of my knees are bone on bone and I usually do the chair work outs. But I wanted to incorporate some standing cardio. Thank you so much for having someone in your video that looks like me. It really motivated me.
Wow, I really didn't expect to get my heart rate up in just 10 minutes! That was awesome! I was diagnosed recently with osteoarthritis arthritis in both knees, but never had any issues until recently with my right knee. I'm used to being active and working out regularly, and I'm determined not to let this arthritis own me! I just completed your 3-day exercise routine for improving walking; and tonight I signed up for your 14-day free trial. I'm excited to start it tomorrow!😊❤
Thanks so much for you help Omg you don't even know how much you help me. I have osteoporosis arthritis had a very big scoliosis surgery 3 years ago.now I am going to have another one in my SI joint and repair one of my screws broken. I have a lot of stiffness bcos I am fuse almost my whole back. I am doing the exercises you taught. I am doing well just in my own pace. Thank you again
You are worth GOLD ! First PT I exercise along with daily come what may (started with every other day). Your exercises are Way more effective than the targeted exercises the PT gave me ! I am really thankful !!!
I have Rhumatoid Arthritis and this has been such a help to me. I was struggling to get up out of a chair or kneel down but now I do both easily. If I had to do a long drawn out exercise classes, I wouldn’t keep it up but with these shorter sessions, it’s easy to stick to and something I’ve never said before about exercise, ENJOYABLE! 😅 Thank you!
This is a great program! I’m totally uncoordinated and need time for my brain to engage movements correctly if arm and shoulders are included. You go at a nice pace and explain exercises well ❤🎉😊
I've started doing this workout after supper, before bed, to use up insulin, if that makes sense. It is great and does not hurt my knees! I'm doing some of your longer, 30 minute workouts with weights in the a.m. The improvement in my knees, balance, and energy is great! Thank you!
Thank you….thank you. I love 10 minute cardio exercises. You can succeed doing a 10 minute exercise. And that makes a difference. And you can do one or two other 10 minute cardio exercises if you want ….with a rest in between. More please! ❤️.
Please do another dance video; you did one 2 years ago, but it had a bad echo in the background which made it difficult to hear your instructions and listen to the music as well. Love all your vids....thank you so much for your much needed help.
Awesome. Thanks Alyssa for the great cardio workout. Simple, easy, and extremely effective. I have bilateral osteoarthritis in both my knees. I was very active before and now after a long time I am feeling that cardio rhythm back in my life once again. I have started doing this workout since yesterday and it is really helpful. Thank you and God bless !!

@@arthritisadventure thank you. i had a spinal fusion, ive had carpal tunnel surgery, a dvt after a knee injury where i dislocated my knee and had to set it back myself.. ive had a rough couple of years. im only 49 and i plan to show my body that i still have alot of life to live lol the back surgery gave me my life back honestly. they removed a disc, added a small cage filled with cadaver bone so itd fuse with mine, freed up pinched nerves.. im so grateful and im grateful for your vids. theyre helping me to safely and slowly strengthen and not overdo myself. i do modify some things but i dont want to just sit around or get weak. dont worry, im being careful. but i appreciate your help too. 🫶
Thank you, thank you! Getting in appropriate cardio has always been a concern of mine with my hip arthritis. I’m looking forward to doing this. I know it’s doable for me!
More like this!!! I’ve done this in the morning for the past three days, and it has helped so much with morning/afternoon stiffness and even brain fog. A couple of days I even did a ~20 min strength work out later. BTW, I’m a 33 year old with juvenile RA and have been very active all my life, but the RA flared up in 2019 after pregnancy and got worse after catching COVID. I literally lost all of my strength and fitness, even 1.25 mile was too much on my body- and I ran a half marathon in 2019. I want you to know that your videos have contributed greatly to improvements in my health over the past year. You’re so positive and uplifting! Thank you for helping us!

Thank You for the video and Inspiration. I have Arthritis through my whole body. I have had a back fusion and neck fusion. I need physical therapy and can’t afford it. I have a great deal of pain daily. Looking forward to losing weight yet increasing my joints to work. ❤
Thank you for this workout, I have arthritis in both knees and right hip, I've been for physio and advised to exercise. 20 years ago I competed in female bodybuilding and strong lady so have damage from that. I've been doing this workout every morning now for two weeks before I start work, on the rest I use light kettle bells to work bicep, tricep and shoulders. Thanks again I am starting to feel stronger in my legs, I just have to work on my left knee a bit more as it has only recently become a problem. Also I have found cycling to help I do this 4 days a week for 30 mins on a stationary bike then stretching after. 😊
Hi Alyssa. After doing this exercise yesterday, I woke this morning with right side of body hurting. I am 59 years old, postmenopause. I was wondering if this is down to not exercising enough. I loved the video. Thank you 😊
Discomfort may be caused for a few reasons: using different muscles, attempting new movements, too much too quickly, need for upper body support, recovery, what the rest of your day looks like, muscle imbalances that may be present, etc. The key is helping your body to recover. You’ve got this.
Nice one. Thanks. Problem as you get older can be that you can do a lot, but its the stiffness after that is the issue. Especially with Arthur (Arthuritis 😊). Best to keep moving 💪🏃♂️though
I do the metronome approach to walking-on-the-spot that seems popular now during each of the 'rest' periods. Wish more old farts my age were doing fitness sessions regularly. Hey Alyssa. Please help me out. Im doing boxing training but my feet are extremely stiff and painful 10 mins. Into the training. I cannot move anymore, but still have stamina. Foot just hurts so much. We do rope skipping, lots of footwork, pivoting. Are my feet just weak or what gives?
