    What has your experience with a silicone breast pump been?

    Thank you Kassi! I use mine frequently since it's so simple and easy to clean. I did have my baby kick it while he was feeding one time, broke the suction and spilled like 3 oz of milk all over the place but I learned my lesson about positioning after that haha

      Hi Kelly, Thanks for sharing your experience! That is the WORST, talk about crying over spilled milk...some silicone breast pumps come with a strap now, looks like a lanyard that goes around your neck and the pump, just in case baby's feet get kicking! haha

    Thanks for this video! I got a Haaka pump to try with my 3rd nursling. I wasn't sure if it could be used for clogged milk ducts. Glad to hear your tip on that! ☀️ Heidi

    I heard a tip to keep the haaka (without a suction cup on the bottom) in a mug so it doesn't spill over as easily!

    I definitely love the Haakaa Pump. It saves me time from pumping. I do have a clogged milk dusts on my right breast often so I’m going to try the epsom salt tip and hopefully that will help. Thank you so much for all your helpful tips and information in your channel and love your beautiful smile 😊

    For the clogged duct trick. Should you breast be touching the salt water or is it just the steam that helps it release?

    my child was removed from my custody at one week old. what can I do to keep up lactation even though I only see her 3 times a week randomly???

    • @KassiReyes
      @KassiReyes  2 роки тому +1

      First of all congratulations and this must be really hard situation for you. It’s so awesome that you’re trying to maintain Lactation. The best way to maintain Lactation when you’re not with the baby, is to empty the milk out of the breast regularly with hand expression or a pump. Ideally this would be every time the baby eats, which is about every 2 to 3 hours for 15 to 20 minutes. You could try pumping every three hours for 15 to 20 minutes if you want to maintain a full supply. If you’re just hoping to maintain some milk and the schedule seems too rigorous for you, you can do less, the more you pump the more milk you have, but I wouldn’t do more frequency than every three hours
