Thank you so much I'm just starting to use ginger because I heard of the health benefits and I just happened to find your post. I appreciate you taking the time to post because I knew nothing about how to peel or how to add it to my drinks especially my tea. I just made a cup of ginger tea actually for the first time. I just put it in some hot lemon water I love your accent and I love your personality that comes through. God Bless you thank you again. Can't wait to visit your website to learn how to cook some Jamaican dishes.

I love to hear your beautiful, calming voice.I enjoy watching your video. I love using ginger in my drink called "Golden milk" warm milk with turmeric paste, black pepper, ginger and honey. It's good tasting and a good anti-inflammatory and really calms you down at night to help you sleep. Thanks for sharing

Thank you :) My mum got me some ginger, and I've don't know that much about it, how to use it, what to use it in, or how to store it; Thanks for the video! When I was growing up, I wasn't aware ginger could be eaten, and due to it's potent strong flavor, always took it of any foods cooked with it, sort of like bay leaves.

    Hello,
I never cooked with ginger, and my question is, would it be good to cut in cubes and add it in with baked potatoes, beef cubes, turnips, onions, garlic, etc.? I haven't seen anyone suggesting eating ginger in cubes or bitesize, only as a garnish, which is why I am asking. I need to add it in my diet and I am making baked potatoes with okra, which is also new to my diet, and I am looking forward to tasting. I hope I will not be disappointed and make it go to waste, I hate to throw food away. Thanks for sharing these ideas, great video.

Armando De Michele hey there, if you have not tried it yet, I don’t think it will work well- just to warn you. Ginger is great! But used like a season or garnish because it’s pretty potent. Cubes of ginger would be similar in potency to taking a mouthful of chilli powder, or eating cinnamon sticks whole. Obviously not the same flavour, but potency. If you have to start including in your diet, I’d suggest start grating small nubs of ginger into your recipes and see how it goes. It’s lovely in so many dishes.

colleenb777, thanks, I did try it because no one replied that day, lol, it wasn't so bad but I will not do that again, lol. Yes, I know now and agree it has a potent or sort of a spicy hot taste, and I enjoy it as a tea as well. Thanks for the tip.
