Though fans worldwide have given a warm welcome to K-POP, many believe that it’s still receiving discriminatory treatment from The Recording Academy of The United States. The Academy holds an annual award ceremony commonly known as The Grammys and is viewed by many worldwide as the music industry’s most prestigious award ceremony. So for most artists, receiving a Grammy Award is a big deal and on many career bucket lists.
