For those who are griping, complaining and nit-pick'n.... This was the first game of the season. This was Mr.J's first game as head director. With that said...no matter how much you nitpick...this game was still buss'n the arse of 90% of you other bands, in your whole 06 season. In other words...sthu....cuz your band can't do better on a week 1. Ps- Bcc got thrashed this game. They did aight for Bcc...but, they aren't a battling band. Definitely, not in week 1.
I think SU has the best men and ladies that sit by the band wearing the dresses with the shakers. I 4got who you call them. They are always up every song. Can't nobody mess with them. They look excited to.
I know SU probably not getting rid of those cheap fiberglass sousaphones but I wonder how much more FULL the sound would be if they got some quality sousaphones.
I've been sayin that for awhile the tone sounds so choked up with those fiberglass tubas if southern gets some metal tubas they'd be sooooooo much better I do enjoy Southern tho one of my favs

@therawest601 Well thanks for telling me that... it's funny cuz that's one of the reasons I didn't want to go to school there and be in that band. I play the tuba and I just didn't want to play with them.
Usually I'm against SU but one this one all I can say is DAMN! don't mind them blasting and screaming on this! sound better then FAMU's thats for sure but not better then BCU's
man SU is like the effin shit .....they came in at the perfect moment at 1:28 they were like .... awesome and i hope to go to SU after high school but VSU tuba section is better
@CameronMo1195 brass* instruments made of iron would look stupid be too heavy [a trumpet weighing as much as a btone? no thanks.] and sound terrible... and the reason they dont use brass isnt because of jsu... its something else entirely...
