2:13:00 Little did they know that there were two people working at this base, just missing each other by happenstance. One sees the other on the radar, one scrounges for mushrooms and the other wonders why their burgers and MREs keep vanishing around the base.

Another thing to mention is that it seems to try to like.. emulate the source engine? It'll do the node thing out of date message for no reason especially sense that's a source only thing.. It even emulates the hints and menu style. The craziest thing to me though is that the dev coded it so that the cheats you type in console ALSO follow source rules. You need to type sv_cheats 1 to input any other cheats. Very odd..

I just like the variety of creatures in this game. Like it’s not just Aliens that come to creep you out, but there’s also demons and shadow people. The classic mannequins that move while you’re not looking, etc. it seems like it has everything

So great to see this game back on the channel, hopefully as an occasional installation. The resource economy does seem a bit tight, but it's clear that the mushrooms and burgers and such are meant to help sustain you as you get the main upgrades in place. Also, the Bernard's door of having a secret underground room right next to you is too good to make up, considering that between all your videos you've probably missed it dozens of times.
I'm SO glad you're playing this game, again. I don't have a lot of time to watch (very busy and long work schedule), but I enjoy your videos, and I enjoy this game. I can't wait for more of this series!
This letsplay and your narration in particular is so unhurried and meditative yet addictive. Feels like playing and reading a book at the same time. And it really amazes me how thoughtful sound design and a well-written plot still prevails over graphics in games, when it comes to creating the desired atmosphere. This game is a confirmation of this.
I'm really glad this channel exists. It explains horror so perfectly with perfect comedic moments along with just super helpful advice about media, usually about horror. I couldn't praise this channel enough.
In all honesty I would absolutely love to see more videos on this game. I don’t see many UA-camrs play it to my knowledge and there are so many things to discover in its atmospheric world. And with how poetic the librarian is I’d love to see how’d he’d describe his experience and encounters.
The server puzzle is a counting number line. The left number is your start. The sign tells you whether to go left or right. The right number tells you how many spaces. If you hit the right end, loop round to the left end. If you hit the left end, bounce off it and count up. Simple. 😊
That crowbar is the best Investment you will make. Just be careful not to jump or fall off of something tall while holding it, because you will NEVER find it ever again. I looked around for the better part of an in-game day and I never found mine.
This is the perfect game for you to play. Long stretches of nothing for you to ramble, the creepy cozy vibe this game has, fun things for you to find, and you can play it for a long time and long is the perfect length… for your videos.

such an amazing content, wanted to play this game for so long but my pc can't run it ): . Finally i can truly appreciate it. P.S. your voice is amazing and really improves the atmosphere
I'd love a game like this but in multiplayer. Imagine you're sitting in your compound with your buddie, he does all the repairs while you do the tracking of signals, and you get to chat with the people who receive and have to interpret the signals. Could be either really good or really bad depending on the execution, but my money is on really good.

amzing! i love this game and all the secrets and little nuances that come with it, please continue the series!
That cave jump scare got me really good.
So excited you decided to do a series of this one.
YES, I'M HERE FOR A SERIES, TAKE AS LONG AS YOU NEED/WANT
I'm really glad this channel exists. It explains horror so perfectly with perfect comedic moments along with just super helpful advice about media, usually about horror.
I couldn't praise this channel enough.
jeez i love how much of hl1/2 sounds are used in this game.
This is great! Pleaseeee with a cherry on top make this a series or atleast a pt2 or 3
In all honesty I would absolutely love to see more videos on this game. I don’t see many UA-camrs play it to my knowledge and there are so many things to discover in its atmospheric world. And with how poetic the librarian is I’d love to see how’d he’d describe his experience and encounters.
I've been waiting for this for so long. I always thought this would be a perfect game for your video style if you could take your time
The server puzzle is a counting number line.
Sooo happy to see this today! Thank you Mr. Librarian
Love this game! Only just recently found your channel, and I'm glad I did:3 keep the vids coming!
I absolutely love this channel. its always a breath of fresh air from the usual madness of youtube

"the ambiance in this game is amazing!!"
live valve software reaction: 💀
(all sound effects in the game are ripped straight from hl2)
Must be one brutal exercise if going to the toilet increases your stamina
I love these videos! And You sound like a total sweetheart deserving of headpats 🥹🥹🥹🥹
I love how cozy the community here happened to be. It's really like all the people who love "creepy and comfy" content gathered here.
This is the perfect game for you to play. Long stretches of nothing for you to ramble, the creepy cozy vibe this game has, fun things for you to find, and you can play it for a long time and long is the perfect length… for your videos.
been watching ever since the abandoned explorations, i've been waiting for you to play this since i thought it'd fit with your type of content so much, love you lib, you're awesome.
Man I’m glad he did this again. Really liked the previous times.
Please continue this series. The game has tons of secrets that are worth finding!
Time to revisit the series! Thanks for bringing this series back :)
i am LOVING this so far!!! cant wait for the next episode
Just make sure you lock your base doors.
i cant wait for part 2, keep up the good work librarian!
such an amazing content, wanted to play this game for so long but my pc can't run it ): . Finally i can truly appreciate it.
P.S. your voice is amazing and really improves the atmosphere
Oh boy! Potential Star-spawned Horrors beyond my comprehension!
You can think people are over reacting when something happens but when you actually play the games yourself... Holy damn
