🎮 "You're In Control" - Спорт
Jonny May is the England winger in the clips and is Englands second highest try scorer 👍 He also just retired from international Rugby
And the best thing is that not only does he have an awesome highlight reel but he’s also crazy funny and weird to listen to on podcasts 😂
Thanks for letting me know Elliot. I'll check Jonny May out
I'll check out his podcasts too. Thanks Jake
@@QSNgg it’s his appearances on the podcast ‘the good, the bad and the rugby’ where he is reoccurring guest because he’s that popular 😂😂
18:28 That is England winger Johnny May
Thanks so much! He was incredible to watch on those. I'm going to check out more Johnny May
👌🏼 Jason Robinson highlights are a must!
I asked all ready
I have Jason Robinson on the list for sure! Much love Kieran!
Yeah I have him in the watch list
Jonny May, you would like checking him out. At one point in time he was arguably one of the best wingers in the world . Pace to burn . LRZ played with him at Gloucester. Two crazy good wingers
Johnny and LRZ had to be an insane combo to watch!
The quick tap penalty, 5:45, when you awarded a penalty you can take a quick tap and go provided that it is from the spot the offense occurred. In this instance the ref was playing advantage for offside. Once there’s no advantage gained he brings them back for the penalty, Danny spots the dog leg in defense because they haven’t got back 10 yet, runs to the spot where the offense occurred, taps the ball and goes over. Completely legal and brilliant heads up play. Danny and all good 9’s are awesome at this.
From what I remember of it, Eddie Jones dropped Danny prior to the Rugby World Cup in 2019.
Despite winning two six nations titles under Eddie including the grand slam in 2016, which was the try in the first clip vs France, Eddie famously pulled Danny off the field in a match against Australia after only 30 minutes of play. Incredibly embarrassing for Danny.
He didn’t play again for England for a while. He came back into the England squad under Steve Borthwick.
I can’t remember if getting the shepards crook treatment against Australia was after or before 2019 so maybe best to check on that. I think my timeline is slightly wrong. Danny speaks pretty well about that on the Rugby Union Daily podcast where he is a frequent host and pundit.
in between 2019 and his call up under Borthwicks tenure as coach he won the English Premiership with Harlequins. The playoff and final of that season being the two most amazing games for a club to finish out a season.
Harlequins are a club with its own ups and downs including premiership titles, relegation and the infamous bloodgate scandal. All of which I believe happened during Danny’s tenure at the club.
He really has had an awesome career and really glad he’s been able to get to 100 caps for England. One of the very few English players to achieve that.
Another great video as always.
Thanks for letting me know the history behind the RWC '19 coaching decisions Lewis! You're the best my friend!
Also, I appreciate the explanation on the quick tap as well. That makes a lot of sense
React to Courtney lawes, imo one of the England all time greats and the goat of Northampton saints
I will for sure check out Courtney Lawes. He's a massive hitter too!
Danny's a typical scrum half, smaller, quicker and in your face.
Yeah you said it perfectly! Super quick
May sliding on his knees and giving DC the pop pass is also 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah the knee slide was incredible to see! Such an amazing play 🔥🔥🔥
Meet Danny quite a lot over the years. Meet his mum at an away game before he made his Harlequins debut and have stayed friends since. A very lovely family!
That's awesome you met him! He seems like a great guy
I'm lead to believe that Danny Care was also a talented football (soccer) player in his youth and could have been a professional in that sport too.
Thanks for letting me know that Kevin!
Jonny May is the player sliding on his knees, he’s my favourite player. Would also suggest watching Joe Marler, he plays for the same team as Danny Care
Much love James! Here is my Joe Marler reaction: ua-cam.com/video/uLknzWkJYdc/v-deo.html
Jonnie May was the person running down the wing. He has good highlights if you want to react to him and I know they good person is Quaid Cooper
Thanks for letting me know Isaac. I'll 100% check out Quaid Cooper
VIDEOS are on POINT !! keep it up QSN !!!
Much love boss I appreciate you!
Loved Danny Care as a player, quick, clever and all round brilliant and imo much better than Ben Youngs. He should have played a much larger part in English rugby over the last 7 years.
I agree with you Casper! He looks like he was always thinking ahead
Hi OSN Bro,
Danny Care 6 min 16 seconds into your video the question on the team having to retreat 10 metres.
In this case players will have had to be behind their goal line and the quick tap and go has to be done from the Mark which is where the infringement was made.
If you take it quickly but not from the Mark you still got the penalty but unable to take it quick again for that exact infringement.
Any further questions please feel free to ask!
Thanks for letting me know that Leighton! I appreciate you boss!
@@QSNgg no problem at all bro, I’m a ref in Rugby so I may be able to answer some questions if needed.
Loving your content by the way, going to share it on a page I’m on
Occasionally what you're calling quick taps (which are a way of taking a penalty) are just sniping runs around the ruck, 9s will exploit poor cover/support rather than passing
Thanks for letting me know it's called sniping runs! I love that
"Who is that man"? England winger number 14. Johnny May. Yes he's fast.
Much love on letting me know Johnny May! I appreciate you Gnome!
Was May that made Me think of Baker similar body types tall, long limbed and rangy.@@QSNgg
Also, you could check out Sam Underhill, who’s one of the best technical tacklers around
Definitely! Still love the try saving tackle he made against Wales in 2018
2019 WC semi final Eng v NZ Sam and Tom Curry were off the charts in that game and and were everywhere causing chaos in the All Blacks , not the same impact a week later but the memory isn’t as sharp on that game for some reason
I'll definitely check out Sam Underhill
Quite common for the 9 or 10 to have a snapshot at a droppy if advantage is given. If it missed no advantage penalty given.
That makes a lot of sense
You should react to Kurt Lee arendse the regen of cheslin kolbe
I will for sure
That try against Biaritz is 🔥🔥🔥
100% right Joe!
Hello QSN nice video
Much love I appreciate you!
I have to say a massive sorry on behalf of all the rugby community. Two players that should have been recommended to you form the get go are Perry Baker and Carlin Isles. They are speed freaks! and both Americans. Check out their highlight reels.
I'll def check out Isles! I have a video of Baker coming out soon
Looking forward to the Baker video and I think Isles was even faster. Just Baker stood out more as he was so tall you couldn't miss him.@@QSNgg
Italy as you know are not the best team in the six nations but one of their players, Sergio parrise was ranked as possibly the best number 8 in the world a few years ago he would be worth you looking at , playing for a top tier team gets you noticed but imagine how good you have too be to play for a smaller team against the big boys and they think you are the best player.
Yeah Italy is getting it together and looking really sharp not. I'll check out Sergio parrise
I used to play scrum half so always pay particular attention to them. Sadly it's been one of England's weakest positions for some time.
Personally I've never really rated Care. He's a decent player, but if the standard of scrum halves was better in England he wouldn't have had so many caps. Good club player though.
Ideally a scrum half should have a fast, accurate pass, as quick ball is essential. The best scrum halves often have blinding acceleration and a good side-step too. Care has slow service and by scrum half standards he's not exceptionally quick, just decent.
Scrum halves also need good vision, quick decision making and a tactical brain. They are second only to the fly-half (No.10) in importance for decision making as they are the link between forwards and backs. In France scrum-halves are often considered even more important in this regard than fly-halves.
Rugby legend, Sir Gareth Edwards, is considered the best scrum half in history. In fact in 2003 he won a poll as the best rugby player in history.
ua-cam.com/video/6j3UYslPOP4/v-deo.html
He played for Wales & the British Lions back in the 70s when the game was still amateur (It only went professional in the mid 90s). Great brain, blinding acceleration, and fantastic side-step. There are plenty of videos of him.
Currently Dupont, France's scrum half is considered the best in the world. Some scrum halves have a more muscular style and almost act like an extra backrow, harrassing the opposition. Dupont is a good example of that style, as is South Africa's Faf de Klerk. Care is a decent player, but not in the same class as those.
That's awesome you played Scrum Half. How long did you play rugby?
I appreciate your incredible breakdown of what a scrum half should do as well. That's incredibly helpful.
I will for sure check out Sir Gareth Edwards. Thanks for sending me his video as well!
Yo, u really need to make a video about Lewis reels zammit getting signed for 3 years by the chiefs big stuff, as a Welsh man and a big chiefs supporter this is massive news
I'm excited for LRZ! I hope he does well in KC!
NFL cuts the drop tackle. Seriously? I know that you are reacting to Rugby but let's just say .... what are the NFL doing?
"The worry for NFL owners and coaches is that if defensive players continue to use the swivel hip-drop technique, lower leg injuries will increase as the defender in a flaggable case will drop all of his body weight onto a ball carrier's legs"
Really, how are you supposed to tackle now in NFL?
You said it perfectly Bob! I'm not too sure what the NFL is thinking. They've really ruined the defensive side of the game.
That's why the offense can drive the field so fast and score so quickly now. The defense isn't able to enforce their presence anymore without penalty
It's really backwards what they're doing to NFL now. It takes away the fun and interest in the game
react to johnny may!
I will for sure Millard!
That was pretty
🤣
