True, but her 4th wall breaks were more directed to her sexualization and knowing certain shots, poses, or scenes were specifically done for the readers.

It's not really explained in the MCU but is touched upon in the Ang Lee Hulk movie that the Hulk is another personality born of Bruce's childhood trauma from growing up with an extremely abusive father. Jennifer's didn't have that trauma or anywhere near the same levels of gamma exposure and therefore just transforms without losing her personality or intelligence.
Also in the comics Bruce is pretty much the only person who develops a separate personality while transforming. Every other Hulk or Gamma powered person just stays with their regular personality. It really is just Bruce being messed uo in the head.
@@Kekkersboy well yes and no, originally during the first run of She Hulk when Jen would transform her personality was similar to that of when a Bruce transformed into the Hulk, by the end of the run Jen became more capable of being in control when transformed leading her to be in her transformed state almost permanently (even losing the ability to transform back at times) and even has a Grey She Hulk form where she speaks in a dumber third person (this was 2 years before Bruce’s DID was brought into the characters lore). Also Doc Sampson ends up developing DID and Rick Jones’ persona was suppressed when he first became A-Bomb has to fight to keep his personality in control thus meaning that A-Bomb has its own feral personality.
Also a gamma powered persons form is dependant on their mental state (Abomination struggles with self loathing thus looking like a monster, Bruce has childhood trauma which manifests as a giant trying to protect him with the mental age of a child who lashes out at things that scare or anger him as a child would…with rage, Leader has grandiosity explaining his enormous head, Rick was forced into becoming a hulk through experimentation and had to protect his mind from going crazy thus has nigh impenetrable skin and Jen tried to be the idealised women thus the Amazon appearance and these are just to name a few) so really they’re all mentally troubled.

I'm kinda upset they did away with Jen not being able to turn back. That was the most interesting part, she just had to deal with being a 7 ft model out of nowhere and became more confident from it.
I mean, Bruce had to hide for years and even tried to kill himself but Hulk didn't let him. She must know that and still was straight up insensitive and offensive in her questo to be "better than him"
Banner being afraid of his blood getting on people was shown in the original MCU hulk film. Edward Norton cut his finger in the soda plant, which led to a cameo of Stan Lee that drank the soda and got poisoned from it, and that also gave away where he was hiding.
If I remember all cameos of Stan Lee are cannon not in singular universe like every universe there is a Stan Lee no but only one so he was poisoned not poison killer rather sick plus the reason no one was able to turn on the hulk green is because no one has the DNA of Bruce like Jennifer

She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters was one of the first characters in Marvel comics to break the fourth wall. The fact that she was doing it in the comics is a big reason why the writers of the show will be incorporating it as part of the show. One of the first times that she appears to break the fourth wall in the comics is in the 1989 Sensational She-Hulk comics.
This is a big one because the writers of the show have expressed their admiration for this particular comic series, as it is what they are going to base a lot of the story on. The first time that she breaks the fourth wall is on the front page when she directly tells fans, “OK, now is your second chance.” She is talking about how the first series of her comics did not do very well in terms of profitability, so this is the next chance that fans have to prove their fandom.

Random court villain is a chick with super strength called Titania. She has beef with She-Hulk in the comics because she was the first superhero to beat her in a fight, and pretty much just shows up to jump her all the time in lore.
She also spent years absolutely terrified of Spider-man after he beat her easily.

In the comics, Bruce had an abusive father. Jennifer Walters had a much better family life. That could have had an impact on their persons.

He was abused when he was young, so at least that is precedent for going into abuse of some form.
@Bionick Toa Bottling up emotions is why more men commit suicide. We handle it very differently and in most cases I wouldn't consider the way most men deal with theirs to be in any way what we consider healthy. So he hasn't really dealt with it at all.
Some of the scenes really make me think we’re definitely headed towards a world-war Hulk route. The way he thinks he’s in control because he tamed the Hulk when in reality he hasn’t come to terms with the other versions of himself.
As long as we eventually get Worldbreaker Hulk, that's all I need. Hell, you could do an entire Phase of buildup to WWH. It's a shame that they wasted the planet and most of the characters from it though (from the Planet Hulk part).

Jen acts like a teenager being forced to do summer school when she should be well aware that her cousin (who she seems to be quite close with) had his life utterly ruined by the Hulk transformation. Just a little sympathy/understanding as to why Bruce might be the slightest bit paranoid about her losing control.
Hunted by the government, Abusive father, lost in another planet, saved earth multiple times by aliens… like there’s so much Bruce has done/went through. But hey, cat calling makes her better than him. Bruce could never understand her pain 🤡

@@iamcool544 yep she came before Deadpool and she hulk usually rips through the comic pages to talk to the audience or she walks through different panels just to talk about someone or catch a bad guy, also talking to the comic writers and artist.

The reason she has more control then bruce is due to the the fact that the hulk and him are separate entities all together sharing the same body it’s like moon knight while his cousin doesn’t have that and is basically like going super saiyan

In no way, shape or form whe diminished Bruce's journey, she just said that women need to control their anger in more situations than men, so they usually already have that skill, which is absolutely reasonable when you remember that 50% of murdered women are victims of their own partner.

With the Hulk, his deal is the angrier he gets, the stronger he gets. With Bruce in control he restrains the Hulk's power. I hope we eventually get a storyline where Bruce starts to lose his control over the Hulk and becomes more savage.

I like Jenn's character and how she explains that she has a lot of prior practice/experience controlling her anger. Also, Bruce has been through a lot of extremely traumatic shit which makes it harder to control his powers. It would make sense that since she hasn't been through all that traumatic stuff yet that she could control her powers easier.
