Marvel knows how to use songs that are or were popular in the past to compliment and kinda say what the mood of the scene is about, I bet everyone was really wondering "Who's that Girl?!" Very popular song by rapper Eve in 2001 or 02 I think.
if the lawyering was any better this show would have been great honestly. Jen should be, in theory, regarded as a great lawyer. But its hard to do that as literally all the cases she wins happens because of the opposing lawyers incompetence and not because jen is just better. The one case she loses to matt murdock, happens because she is incompetent. The writers admitted that they dont know how to write courtroom scenes. Instead of just saying "yeah we dont know how to do that" they could have brought someone who knows how to do that or at least took some legal advice before writing bad scenes. Just like how they did for the climax, they just went "yeah all this stuff is bad and it sucks, lets just change it", (that worked to some degree tho at least it was absurdly entertaining)

@@bensenzo well at the 2nd last episode, it literally proves that she cant control her emotions or her anger properly. One of the main points of the show is that jen is wrong about her being able to control her emotions, thats what the writers wrote in the script anyways. When her sex tape was leaked, her colleague told her to stand down and keep calm but she couldnt even do something as simple as that. Ultimately everything which bruce said was correct, that people will see you as a monster, which is why you just keep your emotions in check with the hulk superpower.

there was nothing simple about that. and this one occasion alone doesnt prove anything. on the big picture jen is still better at controlling her anger compare to bruce. because she is not have to worry about loosing conscious to another personality who wants to destroy everything. and the damage he caused in ep 8 was nothing compare to what hulk did over the years.

no. the main point is both jen and bruce was only half right on their respective points. hulk took the issue like jen's messing things up is inevitable simply because she is a hulk and couldnt bring himself to see being a hulk doesnt have to be definitive factor in jen's life.
jen thought being a hulk wont be a problem because she doesnt loose control like bruce did. but she couldnt realize controlling your anger as a indestructable and adored super human can be different kind of challenging than a normal woman who has to worry about her safety or her image in workplace.

it depends. did you root for peter when he let a criminal escape and caused uncle ben's death? no. because you understand that peter's that decision was meant to be wrong decision and not promoted by something we should root for by the story.

This show isn't AS bad as people make it seem, but it ain't great. There are a few episodes that aren't great, but for the most part, this was an enjoyable superhero show... and an underwhelming lawyer show.
That second part isn't great when the title of the show includes the words "attorney at law".
All the folks on Jen's side after that delusional narcissistic tantrum are something else dude...

This is so awesome. My favorite episode is Jen breaking the 4th wall, talking to us about how she became she-hulk and training with her cousin bruce or Smart hulk. Jen is funny, great, smart, and strong. She-hulk is badass.

This show was Top Tier Awesomeness! They really nailed the self aware aspect of the iconic run by Byrne. Everyone goes on about Deadpool breaking the 4th Wall but Shulkie was the OG.
