My son is a freshman swimming D3 this year - his best stroke is fly, but he's also an IMer. I think he'd be very, very happy to ever break 21 in the 50 free. 20.7 is a very respectable time, especially for a breaststroker!
@@robertozarate4640 he’s trying to break 2 min in the 2 fly. He’s been stalled there for a while but has dropped on all his off strokes in the meantime.
It's always nice watching you goof off, but giving great advice to a younger generation, hoping to make it to the Olympics themselves. I was a swimmer for 15 years, a coach for 8 and loved every minute of it. Even if you don't make it, aim high. You never know where it'll take you.
I was a very successful swimmer "in the day" and 33 years after my college career ended, I still swim every weekday. I am soooo lucky that my facility just built and opened their brand new, outdoor, temperature-controlled 50-meter pool. Yesterday it was 90+ air temp. and pool was 79. Lifeguard looked at me and said, "Isn't this fun?" I said, "It's the funnest thing ever!" Remember kiddos: "...having fun in the pool IS where it all started."
Hi Cody I remember when you came to my swim team in Houston Texas and did a clinic in 2022 with Josh Davis you signed my cap and swim bag also I am a breaststroker too or 2021 (I forgot witch year😂)
Ever since I was in competitive swimming I always wore Speedo it was a brand I really believed him and Cody I want you to know that you have really come a long ways you're a great inspiration and motivational person very optimistic
I did a 17.4 with fins once, no paddles IMO they are a waste of time one you get high in the water like fins get you you can pull full strength with insane tempo and make sure you do full undies. I never did a 20.7 though so we know he can do it
I'm confused by the yard & meter. Just no idea which one people are referring to when they talk about the best time. Also short course long course really matter
If you can stay afloat that long I'd say you can cover much more distance in three weeks 😂 But seriously, do 10x 100s with decreasing pauses over that time and you will be fine...
My 50free time is 36 And one day I will say- My 50free time is 15 And I will I will never ever give up from now on no matter what no matter what the world says I will break the 15 Note that
Hi, recently I started listening music while swimming (have Xtrainerz AFTERSHOKZ). Have you any music tips or some playlists to listen or recommend? Its hard to find good playlists with 130bpm rate. Thanks for response from anyone.

Outdoor swimming is a pain! I used to swim in outdoor Swimming, and my body became fully tan, and Waterproof sunscreen is hella expensive!
I READ THIS RIGHT AS HE SAID IT
Dude, its really fun watching the evolution of Mr Cody Miller. Keep on keeping on man.
You can appreciate how fast is Dressel when other professional swimmer with suit, fins and all the help in the world can't beat him
and a 25m swimming pool lmfao!
Omg cody in full body suit😵😵
Right!!!
20.7 for a breast stroker is damn impressive. A little training sub 20 would be no problem.
Keep up the amazing work Cody!!
I know I am lying to myself when I wear a wetsuit to practice, but it is fun to feel the speed whether I will ever feel fast in a race or not.
It’s SO FUN

Your “messed up chest”…is that pectus excavatum? I have that and always feel insecure and slow
Love those speedsocket goggles. Are they available? I know Caleb has some branded SS’s that were out of stock.
7:15 God.... it's me 😭🤣
What pre-workout do you use ?
I got that suit but the canadien one so fun to use
I can’t believe he put a full suit on
It took a long time

Ok but when will those full suits become available again lol
Super funny Cody!! Thanks for that.
Can you help me get in shape to swim a 1500m free in about three weeks??
If you can stay afloat that long I'd say you can cover much more distance in three weeks 😂 But seriously, do 10x 100s with decreasing pauses over that time and you will be fine...
Go for 800m, less exhausting, tbh!
Love your videos Cody.
hello you saw Victor I am his friend
Its gonna happen...teens these days are faster than Dressel when he was a teen
