Kisumu is beautiful and rising very very fast! Thank you for sharing. Watching from USA. 👍
Nice to see you back big brother 💪 🙌 🙏
nice insight on the on going project in Kisumu ,apart from private developers this is one big project Uhuru strived to give Kisumu.
Great investment opportunity. Please do a follow up when when the first phase is complete..
1st phase will be done by December next year 2024
Yes in deed.
@@AfrikanTraveller Thank You..
@@mambebasil2544Are you one of the Sales Managers??
@African Traveler 🧳 …Issa No 👎🏿 👎🏿👎🏿…Don’t allow yourself to be used for sub par things …This is NOT it !!…Looks like a block of new upcoming slums 😢😮
Good to see you again, have missed your videos and i was wondering uko wapi
With all the land you put one house to next house to see a neighbors activities. Architecture style reminds 50s from UK. They should just use it for a prison complex
No need to waste land...let the rest be fir growing some food..think about it
It's still a good deal...I wish I could afford.
@@maureenogaye7323 I wish that too, I'm not Kenyan so I can't buy
you can @@AbiolaRaha
Welcome to capitalism.
wellcome back
I'm coming for the two bedroom unit. See you soon 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️
Regrettably, the project suffers from a lack of greenery, recreation parks, a functional road network, and further exacerbates the situation with houses congested on a small piece of land. While commendable in certain aspects, this congestion underscores the impact of inadequate planning. Comprehensive improvements are imperative to enhance the project's overall quality and functionality.
But its not complete yet
Landscaping is usually done after construction..it doesn't come before ...
The project is just perfect if you have a doubt you should pass by the site to have a better view
@@javanodhiambo3735 mwambie, project haijaisha anataka greenery.
I agree. If the number of units I heard is correct (2000???) then there are potentially going to be negative social outcomes. Kenyans just get excited about new developments, but we have to think about everything.
@@javanodhiambo3735
Surely there's some concern although the project is still underway.
This idea of ' landscaping' as a beautification afterthought is a little skewed here in Kenya.
'Landscaping' and 'Site Design'. Two different things.
You see for the scale of such a project, there is the buildings and the there's the space around the building. The two entities have to be interlinked with optimal functions in mind even before breaking ground. The buildings and the spaces around them are of equal importance for the following reasons:
1)Storm water management(storage and conveyancing)
2)Vehicular traffic and parking
3) Sewer lines and connection to treatment plant.
4) Mains water reticulation
5) Human traffic within and around the development
6) Physical recreation
7) Environment and Ecological management
All those things happen at the ground/ near the ground surface. So kindly replace 'landscaping' with 'site design and you will be thinking like a good architect, engineer or developer 😊. And don't forget to spread the good news further.
Long time no see my African traveler good to see you again last A couple months you go slow I don’t know why I hope everything is good and also, thank you for the good video.
My great concern is the sewer system. 2,000 new units that means roughly 80cubic metres of sewer per day. Sewer lines in the area have to be redone. The old line already congested.
The project is well stractured with professionals in all fronts. The issue of Sewerage system is well taken care off

Let's wait and see. I know that place and it's environs very well. Even before these structures we put up.
Go to shiit in the garden..bouganville smaly nice...
No it is ugly slum in the making

And you are of course an architect...😮
Airbnb can only go so far. I think it’s overrated .
Welcome back!

beautiful indeed.. don't leave kisumu without visiting Lolwe estate 🎉
Yes indeed!
Really wish they would not do this so sad. There needs to be more green. “ 3:11 Projects” so sad😢
Ayyyyy. My guy!!! The great people have missed you. Good to see you and the gang back and on point as always 🎉🎉🎉
Always appreciate the support 🙏 I wish to be here more in the coming days.
Nice shots...
Thanks a lot 😊
Look madam i am not kenyan but i love the project how may i be able to own apartment in Kenya?i can afford but just legal concerned i am Tanzanian.
Coul you answer me please!
Will the flats have lifts, fully functional 24/7?
Long time no hear no see broo. By the way, you really love Kisumu, and we know you are their ambassador 😂😂😂😂. Come back to Migori town and see wonders since you left
Makasembo Estate was formerly Kisumu municipal housing.
Who bought this property??
Who are the developers?(
What's up with your elevator question🤣..in these modern construction?
This nice project
Wonderful job.. keep it up.. by the way if you've traveled far and wide across the globe.. This is the way to go.. Hong Kong if full if these kind of projects and bro theirs are tiny like like tinny..... lovable by western world big cities... Even Britain ie London.. Birmingham... Singapore...i mean every developed countries including china, japan korea Australia are doing the same ...even turkey..gulf countries and middle east countries .. Russian cities are like this ...Kenyans stop complaining to much.. European city houses are like this and are damn expensive especially to immigrants.... By the way to get bedsitter in Hong Kong which is basically like this kisumu project is very very expensive and for you to afford you have to be like three people and they are more than 15 floor but with service lifts.. Where is government affordable housing projects in kisumu.. we need to see them there in kisumu because even if you don't like them you will still end up paying through tax to some other towns which doesn't help you in any way.. Kisumu people embrace this project.. its once in a lifetime.
Very nice video done in a professional way.
Thank you ❤
Why is these video not viral joka dala un kanye ❤
Feels good to see you back mentor 🤝🏿
Asante sana Kaka
This is amazing
That's affordable housing those saying its vertical slum you cannot compare to Brazil slums or Nairobi slums quite organised with good amenities
@lovell1535 what the Nairobi vertical slums lack is proper infrastructure in place like reliable sewage, road network excetera. Much of typical slum life as we know it has been adopted within them. We are waiting to see the unique difference after completion of these houses
@@CyrusCygwin I've visited kibera 'caanan' it's good example of good infrastructure good Rd,sewerage and good environment
@African Traveller …Did you actually set eyes 👀 on these models ??…Don’t allow yourself to be drawn into drama 🎭…Why are they advertising things like one bedroom if it’s sold out ??
Because the project is done in 2 phases you clown. They are building 7 units in total and the first phase is Sold out
Service charge per month
Why are the sockets in the kitchen at the top instead of close to the counter.
Ni ushamba tu
That's my home .. moving up steadily but surely.. welcome ❤
Asante sana
@AfrikanTraveller, a beautiful project. What about fiber internet?
Why do some people over emphasize on the negative side of project if you feel it worth nothing no appreciation, its good to be concerning but don't over do it just wait for the end product if you are not so sure with the process
Bro there price fair love to invest very soon
They should plan in a way that ground floors are commercial spaces and the upper floors are residential
we have commercial spaces on ground floor and residetial on the upper floors
The Camera man had only one job to do, but he failed terribly. Daisy had a good presentation.
Too congested I will pass probably good for low income civil servernts, government people will fit here well
We have so many institutions around that Kisumu also has a huge housing problem. The project is highly needed for the town.
must be high ranking civil servants who will be able to afford them.
It's surprising that this is the first such project by the national government since the seventies!
This is Kisumu County initiative, not National Government.
Nice project
The only downside of these houses is that there no bulcies on the back side, rhis somewhere you can just chill and the enjoy the view privately
Not western side...labile side mse#nyanza
Are this one bedrooms available
Wajaluo mna jipenda sana. I cant believe all the naysayers in the comments. We need to support such projects. It isnot sustainable for people to build on 50×100 plots with the urban sprawl. Density and services in smart (15 minute) cities is the way to go. All i wonder is whether investors are safe in the "maandamano city"
kisumu is a safe space never will you ever be attacked in your house in the name of mandamano , invest in kisumu
Rubbish!
@@kiruicollins5307owners of what?!
@@kiruicollins5307 who are the owners ? That is a LAPFUND project.
Kisumu has its own investors so if you.have a problem with maandamano enda invest in kiandutu or nairobi the al shabaab & maandamano capital. We don't want your brainless kind here.
Great vlog African traveller.
My honest opinion, all the leadership in Kisumu county and Luo Nyanza leadership ought to be arrested for allowing this vertical slums with no soul t be built in Kisumu. It's all about greed and making the most out of the small space for the developers who are most probably prominent luo politicians
*Always pulling others down, sad for your type very challenged to see positive sides of things; just fanatical obsession with negatives, driven by narrow mindedness*
This is a good deal..be open minded n sure those units that are taken I'm sure guys from Nairobi have grabbed them...have a vision...places like kitengela, rongai, etc started like this way so pliz stop being a closed min d person.
I completely agree with you
So you are happy with the current nyalenda, obunga or manyatta slums and the mud houses?
U cannot compare to Brazil slums
visit Loco resort and show us

Where have you been
Hallo AT so lost banaa
Aki, I have no words
Is it freehold or leasehold and how much will be service charges?
lease hold, service charge will depend on the size of the house
Lovely 👍🏽

Is better one cabana like 100 years ago like luo house in the bord of the lake victoria....
Only chines can go to live there...ow many cinesi live to Kisumu? 10...20....
