Hi Optimum Reality! Thank you so much for checking out our channel after watching Out Loud's video, we really appreciate it. Hopefully, you will enjoy watching our videos too :)
This video really made me miss all that wonderful Vietnamese food. We were addicted to the coconut coffee and the Ban Mi, we usually went to their other location in the market to avoid the line.
We had a great time trying the different foods at these restaurants. The banh mi's were really tasty, and fortunately there wasn't a line up when we got there. Thanks for watching :)
That's great that you enjoyed the videos! Hope you have a wonderful time in Hoi An, as it is an incredible place. We're just working on a new video of the Best Things to do in Hoi An, and should be posting it in a couple of days. Thank you for watching, and for your kind words, we really appreciate it :)
We were in Vietnam for the month of January, and it rained and was quite cool most of the time! We only had a few days of sunshine, which happened to be when we visited Hoi An. We thought we would have missed the rainy season, but unfortunately that was not the case. Hope you have better weather for your trip! Thanks for watching :)
Hi Rachel! We loved visiting Hoi An and it was the highlight of our time in Vietnam! Thank you for watching, and we hope you have a great time in Da Nang :)
Haha, well the beers are so cheap in Vietnam, you have to start with a couple of them! Hoi An was the highlight of our time visiting Vietnam. We hope you have a great time on your trip and thank you for watching :)
Hoi An really is quite beautiful, and we were able to find some great restaurants! We had perfect weather while we were there, which was a nice change from the rainy days that we had in Da Nang. Thanks for watching :)
Hi Kim, Here is a list of all the places we tried in the video in order: Bánh Mì Phượng White Rose Restaurant Morning Glory Original Restaurant The Hoianian - Wine Bar & Restaurant EM’s Bakery The DeckHouse An Bang Beach Uncle Huan Coffee 92 Station Restaurant & Cafe Seashell by Nu Eatery Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it!
Mike has been to Copenhagen a few years ago! He loved it and says that we should go because he wants to show me what a beautiful city it is. He would also like to show me Stockholm too. Hopefully we will get there some day soon. Thanks for watching :)
Vietnamese subway! 😅 how do you guys get those giant sandwiches into your mouth. Are the white rose dumplings “cooked” or raw shrimps? (Vaguely remember Thai eat raw shrimps ..) I am waiting for either of you to grow in sizes in these videos but … you guys fail in that 😂 Love the way those restaurants are decorated. Very cute, classy, and relaxing.
Those banh mi sandwiches were big, but we managed to eat all of them lol! The shrimps are cooked in the dumplings...I hope. The Ancient Town in Hoi An is so picturesque and some of the buildings are over 600 years old. We loved our time there and had great weather. Thanks for watching :)
In Vietnamese cuisine, we use cooked shrimp and also other seafood usually, not raw seafood. In Danang city and neighbor regions, the only dish that used raw meat fish is the fish sashimi-style salad (gỏi cá) when they treated the raw mackerel fish meat (or another kind of fish named CÁ LẠC) in a condensed fermented fish sauce mixed with a lot of red chilies, garlic, ginger in a short time to the status of medium-rare (by the activity of salt and spices), then mix with roasted peanut (broken), then rolled in rice-paper with herbs to eat.
The banh mi store recommended by Anthony Bordain is living in the past. It’s 10+ years since he visited it. I’ve eaten banh mi from there, yes it’s good but many of the ladies selling from carts are better.
Our favourite banh mi was from a lady selling from a cart in Da Nang. She was only there in the morning, so we had to head over there early to make sure we were able to have breakfast. Thanks for watching :)
Bahn Mi phoung is currently closed due to over 400 cases of food poisoning and one death! I have eaten there many times but will never eat there again. If it ever opens again!
Just actually curious Do you talk like that normally in life or is it kind of something you considered before creating the video. It’s quite an interesting pattern of speech.
Check out the amazing deal we got our hotel in Hoi An: ua-cam.com/video/VsIwAikzyTw/v-deo.html
