Now, that being said, if the crstalization process is imperfect, some glow chemicals might be included in the final crystal. It would depend on whether or not the glow powder actually dissolves in water. You'll have to experiment for yourself to see. Also, DIYBama has other videos with other chemicals, like alum and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, which can be colored with food colors. You might try getting a cheap hilighter and squeezing the "juice" into the solution. You won't get glow in the dark crystals, but you should get crystals that are fluorescent and glow under black light, which would be pretty cool, too😎

Potassium ferrycyanide has a low toxicity, but can be irritable chemical if was touched by skin or somehow got in your eyes. Always wear protection and if like any chemical dispose of it properly. Chemicals should not be disposed into nature.
