Sorry for your loss! How nice of them to leave you a bit to help push your workshop forward. Grandparents are always surprising even after they are no longer around.

Condolences, you need a memory of your grandmother in there as a reminder. Look at that smile, I'm pleased for you, and nicking some ideas when I build a double garage and gym from April

Should have had a topping out ceremony when you get the last piece of roofing on, and then cracked a beer over it, well had a beer rather than waste it. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 It's looking Awesome

Good call on grinding the cement. When you first asked about it I mentioned in the comments that I was team grinder all the way. It's fool-proof so you can easily do it yourself, its possible to get a very smooth finish and Im guessing it'll be alot cheaper for ya vs having a whole new layer poured on. I know it would be where I live.
But great job on the progress! I've enjoyed the vids on this build so I'll be sad to see it done, haha, but it's gonna be really exciting to you see able to work out of it.

Two things I would do when the building is done and money permits is get an alarm for the workshop and security cameras installed around your property to protect all the cars builds in the future. You gave accomplished a Hugh amount in a week , looking amazing the workshop space.🔥👊👍

If that black stuff on the roof is like rubble bags, it seems to degrade over time... it might be uv that kills it, but on site if we leave bags of rubble, stone etc for months, the bags fall apart... also build a mezzanine, you have fk tons of height for storage.

A bit late to suggest this , but dome fibreglass roof sheets would cut down on your lighting bill, these could be fit later though.

Love this, I’m waiting on a digger man to come this week to start my dream workshop build, will be starting from scratch. Watched the whole series this evening, and the smile at the end says it all, it’s unbelievable how much a little space with a roof over your head all to yourself can mean to you! What size is the shed overall Dan? And what height to the eaves?
    Thanks!
