Lately I seem to spend my time riding trails that are steep and technical. I had almost forgotten how much I love riding flow trails!

My dad swears by this place, he loves it, goes here and smashes laps out on his ebike while my mum sits watching the birds with a brew at the red kite centre. He keeps telling me and my son we should visit here. Great video as always mate.

Yeah I can see why we would like it. We rode the blue and red trails but there is also a black there too. I’ll have to check it out on another visit.

@@bikeandbeyondlike I say, not been myself, but plan to soon, if I do I’ll get a video of the black trail and let you know when I post it. It’s also got a nice Jump Track near the centre apparently that’s quite new and really good.

Great review, perfect description of those trails. That's my local trail centre, looking forward to seeing what you think of the Red. No big challenge but again beautifully put together. The visitor centre and parking meters were all shut down 'until further notice' last time I was there (Oct iirc), don't know why. Really hope not permenant. Car park was open and you could ride, just no centre and couldn't pay for parking even if you wanted too. The Black (Syfydrin) is a fantastic 'wild country' ride round (includes those reds at the centre) . Not technical at all really, just a bit of distance (30km) and some epic scenery. Bit of tarmac to get across a valley at one point but only a few kms and very quiet, no traffic. Can be very wild and windy at any time of year, winter can be pretty challenging 😂

What an awesome place to have as your local. The trails were great fun. Like you say, no huge features but just good quality trails. Didn’t ride the black due to a couple of bike malfunctions, but will do it next time I go for sure.
Yeah the visitor centre and toilets were closed when we went too. That’s odd.

Good to see some stair set of doom action! Nant Yr Arian has great trails for sure. Syfydrin, the black trail, isn't technical at all, just very long & a little remote, & parts get extremely wet in the winter. There are also a couple of sections on road. I used it for distance training for Ard Rock a few years back.

I just had to give the stairs a quick try, would be rude not to. 😂
