this is amazing, i write a lot of folk/rock kind of stuff with dark gothic lyrics and this is just the kind of thing i like, will send you a video
you ever do a uk tour please let me know .... been into your stuff since i heard it, even considering a solo bass cover for busking ... :)
thankyou Paul! So glad you like it :)
Strangely addicting.
Amazing images. Have you thought of playing the Vid minus the audio in SL while you sing live to it? I get the vibe you are like Stevie Nicks really pissed off sister :-). Love the vocal range and the Spoken Word sneaking in from time to time. I find Spoken Word can be even more dramatic than singing. Not sure why. The spinning shot worked great. An acoustic guitar is so versatile it sounds great in these dark vibe songs. Would you say acoustic Goth?
My favourite artist by far, these days. Go Jordan Go!
Check out 'And Also The Trees', esp The Rag And Bone Man album, for a somewhat similar stormy, brooding ambience.
The England they left in appearance would have been gray and very ugly and visually NZ would have had the appearance of paradise. However for settlers with little in the way of knowledge on how to survive there the perspective would have been totally different. Isolation, lack of food, shelter and medical treatment. Even a bad tooth and you could be dead in weeks. The voyage itself would have death along the way so so you have the grief of lost loved ones and important cogs for the settlement.
hey Jezz. I'm actually in the midst of one now :) Tour dates are up on facebook and at jordanreyne dotcom - come up and say hi if you make it to one of the shows!
lol who's all here cause of resident evil 7 ?
I suspect quite a few people ;) I'm now allowed to say that I did sing the track! Music for that one is by Michael A. Levine (the tracks on this youTube channel are all my own stuff).
