    This tutorial was very helpful for me, but in the latest it became very difficult to me. I learn by visualize so it is important that when you make a tutorial, do every calculation even when you are explaining do so. Please and thanks! :)

    This really helped me I was finding maths hard, it started in primary , even though I got a level 4 in maths in S.A.T. S but I felt horrid when my other classmates were getting level five's and sixs . Then I moved to secondary school and my maths started to get better . I started to understand the maths stuff I found hard , difficult . I found this useful , because I was rubbish at this before you explained my teacher tried to teach me but I didn't understand . Keep doing what your doing Wow you have only got 3,083 subcribers you deserve much more . Keep doing what your doing :) thank you and bye :)

    wouldnt it be 3/10 instead of 1/3. because if 1 is taken away from the 4 red cubes then that is exactly three.

    • @58desmond
      @58desmond 8 років тому

      I think you've misunderstood. Think like this, red and yellow cubes together are 10. However, when 1 red is taken and not replaced, it's 3. Now, remember, in the 10( red and yellow) you lost 1( red is inclusive in the 10). 10-1=9. Therefore, 3/9 is reduced or broken down into 1/3

    i think I'm missing something. Why can't it be 12 over 50? 6+6 will give me 12, why can't it be 25+25??

    • @chitalulamba2080
      @chitalulamba2080 9 років тому

      +Chitalu Lamba why can't we add the numbers at the bottom? (dividends?)

    • @58desmond
      @58desmond 8 років тому

      +Chitalu Lamba if you use the calculator, it will be 12/25. Denominators that are the same are not changed but kept the same.
