Wolf notes on a classical guitar: How to fix them?

    Interesting. Ive always been aware of this but i never considered correcting it. Sometimes i use the wolf notes to emphasize parts in songs. Thank you for sharing this, this might help me in the future as I have been building acoustic guitars.

    Thanks for posting this, I am surprised there isn't more discussion about this..
    I have a few guitars with wolf notes and it really irritates me. What is the device you put in your sound hole ??

      Hi, you're welcome! The device is called Tornavoz. Basically, it is a cylinder, but the way Antonio de Torres build it back in the day was slightly more like a cone shaped geometry, made out of brass. The one I made is a 3D printed with an added fretboard extension. The idea is to lower the air resonance of the top, which helps with the basses, but the longest the sleeve is, the more you can reduce the volume as well, besides the frequency, so it is a delicate balance.
