Hi Chilli 😊👍👍Great work, thank you for your volunteer support, it's just sad how the residents deal with their garbage pollution that you always have to pick up trash and rubbish and I would ask the city if you can get a key for the closed areas So that you can also clean the closed area, it is urgently needed and the corners of the streets that you have already cleaned were littered with garbage bags that had been left for a few minutes. Sad, but you should monitor the streets that are so littered with camera surveillance from the state With facial recognition and punishing the offenders with a hefty fine, people would no longer throw rubbish all over the place

I was out litter picking my area same thing happened some one chucked rubbish out of the car window as though it’s meant to bother me ? ! That’s their problem not mine . Weird attitude some people have I don’t understand it at all. Wow the cart did well there didn’t it . Excellent work from you . Thank you. X

I lived in Germany at one time for three years. The village that I lived in had a by law that each home owner had to take care of the street in front of their home. Once a week I swept the street on my side. People got a fine if they did not follow the by law.
The Germans have always been streets ahead of UK .
@@joanmacdonald360 Yes I’m sorry to admit that England now has too many stupid laws and not enough sensible ones. Wish we could follow that German village by-law.

Took my 5 year old out litter picking today collected full bag full, not too much round our area in general though

@@annfoster6116 Mullein is a plant that you can make tea from the leaves and the flowers. Helps greatly with lung issues. I have a batch of flowers brewing right now for cough syrup. You can dry the leaves and store for winter use. Look on YT and you will see what the plant looks like.
As a litterpicker thankfully i dont come across needles (In Rural Cornwall). For me its endless energy drink cans being the main culprit of litter but its addictive isnt it once you start litterpicking! I've been doing it now for around 10 years
Yea, the needles are a sharp reminder (no pun intended) of just how bad things are going round here

Where do you get your sharps container from? Where do you dispose when full? How often do you find needles?
The same place I get my Council bags. That goes for disposing of them as well. I save up the needle containers until I need more bags and I just do a swap
@@chilli_pips Ok cool i will get in contact with my council and see what i can do as i used to work with a council needle clean up team a few years ago so i know where to look but couldnt get a sharps box to clean them up

Posh cars are all leased - they are most likely poor and only care about that fake swagger - expensive things are accessible nowadays but they don’t make you a better person that cares about the environment. Not sure if people have any values in life at all anymore
