You will never convince me that these big companies aren't making a significant enough profit they can't afford to pay someone, even once a week to litter pick the immediate area. All they have to do is put a 1p or 2p on the price of everything. 😢

such pretty little paths and walkways. a bit of greenery in the middle of a city. at the end of my road is the remains of a wharf. it's a lookout over the ocean and people drive there to park, eat their lunch, admire the view, then throw their litter on the ground and in the bushes. or they have a pooh and toss the tissue. it's never ending, as and you have said, the ones that do this will not stop. so we just keep picking up because it looks so nice for a while.

Why are the council not fining the McDonalds for that. Also you should total colab with one of the gardening channels to try and get some of the spots tidied up more. :) You do amazing work
Im a mom of 3 and do community litter picking in birmingham which is renowned for its litter issues. All we can do is do our bit. I actually find the process quite theraputic
Have you contacted the McDonald’s or the owner of the franchise about the boxes and other litter? Maybe posting photos of the problem litter on their Facebook page would help. Would it be possible to rake the leaves off the walkway and use them as mulch for the bare spots in the landscaped area? It would do more to show that someone cares about the area.
These piggies just get my ure up. After all that clean up coming back and finding it a big mess again? I would be so screaming mad, I would report this to the city or town government and tell them I have voluntarily cleaned up the mess and it is a disaster all over again. There ...is...just...no...excuse. And McDonalds, I would demand to speak to management. Ask them why they throw their cartons and cardboard all over the place. I think it is great that you are out there cleaning it up and putting it on you tube. It might embarrass some of these fly tippers into disposing of their waste properly. Thanks for your hard work. Cracking job you did there even though it was disgusting i think the culprits just walked past the bus stop from the local school, and i did notice that woman with the pram just happened to put her rubbish in the bin, i wonder if you were not there? and the lad just sitting there on the wall as you walked pass? i bet that same day after you have finished and even at night it will be back thanks to McDonalds and that walk through. As for those cardboard boxes i would have took the lot to McDonalds and dumped it right on the floor and say that "You can have your boxes back, no need to say thanks" as for the bags, i would have took the lot to the local council office and just left the bags there, with a note saying that "you are doing their job for them" Well done for doing all that, you deserve an MBE OBE even a Knighthood. That was a very impressive cleanup. What on earth is that alley/passage for? Somewhere there is a planning consent that insists it must exist for some reason. The bushes planted on the bank are what my sister christened 'Municipal Litter Catchers' but that whole alley seems almost designed for that purpose, too! I'm really intrigued by that alley. Do you happen to know who travels from one place to another on it?

I think the mess is partly due to homeless people rummaging through the bins. The boxes are likely for sleeping on. Nonetheless, it is a problem that needs fixing.

Why not utilise a trolley to collect all the boxes in one go, then another for the rubbish.
Get you a rake to rake all this trash ,to keep you from using the grabber so much .😊
