Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

This is a really cool cover! Loved the setting, the colors, the characters, the vocals and the atonals! Very well done!
Here's what I could come up with for a story:
(Takes place before any of Scissors' previous appearances, before most of the writings I have done previously + some canon might be different)
Warning: LONG
Limu was lost, hopelessly lost, in her quest to find Varelt, she found herself stranded Somewhere in Nevada, it was devoid of most color besides Bright Reds and Dark Grays.
"Varelt?" Limu called out, hoping to find her fierce friend, but no reply.
Limu continued her trek, calling for Varelt every now and then to hopefully get her attention. She stopped when she reached a unique looking location (at least compared to the desolate abandoned buildings she had seen already)
She could see bits of land floating in the red void above her, a cross in between them, as she got closer to get a better look at the land in the distance, when in between to buildings, incredibly close to the edge of the void, she spotted someone.
Limu scowled as the two made eye contact, recognizing the girl as Girlfriend, the girl who had ruined everything for her from the very start. The former auburn now sported a dark bluish-gray hairdo and a new outfit, but her smile was far too familiar.
Suddenly the girl spoke up: "Whatcha lookin' at fresh meat?"
Limu restrained herself from turning the demon to stone right there and then.
"Limu's name is Limu, thank you very much." Limu said, venom in her voice.
"Cool, name's Circe, you lookin' for something?" The girl said
"But… Limu thought your name was Girlfriend?"
"Only my BF gets to call me that, Limeu."
"Limu."
"Yeah cool, you looking for someone?"
Limu angrily sighed.
"Limu is looking for a friend, Varelt is her name, white hair, tall, holds a large scyt-"
Limu was suddenly interrupted by footsteps, accompanied with the sound of a
*SHING!*
And the sound of metal scraping against the ground, neither girl flinched at the noise, but Limu's eyes suddenly lit up.
"Varelt?" Limu yelled with excitement in her voice, perhaps a bit too loudly.
Just then, the footsteps picked up speed as the figure making the noise dashed into a sprint.
Limu's smile disappeared as the figure came into view and just before whoever was approaching could strike, Limu jumped back and not a moment too soon, as scissors were slammed into the spot she was standing at first.
The figure quickly withdrew her scissors and Limu was now able to look at her attacker up close. Her eyes were hidden, with blood coating her hair, clothes, weapon and… horns? Limu stood in silence as the demon maid stared daggers at her behind her bloodied bangs, piercing right through her soul.
"Take it that's not who you're looking for?" Circe said with a snicker.
Limu didn't even respond as she looked onward in fear.
"Greetings." The demon maid said with mock friendliness.
"I take it you've met my co-worker, haven't you?"
Circe waved.
"Hey boss!"
Limu was stunned.
"Y-Ya work for her?"
"Pretty much." Circe said, "Makes survival easier here in Nevada, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, it's not like you WANT to be the enemy of a killing machine."
"How rude of me." the maid spoke up again, Limu's head snapped back to meet her gaze almost immediately.
"My name is Scissors, it's nice to meet you for the first and last time Ms…" The maid, "Scissors" snickered.
"L-Limulady…" Limu stuttered.
"Limulady! A lovely name, I'll try to remember it after we're done here."
Circe looked over at Limulady, and smirked, winking.
"Hey boss, maybe you two could sing a bit before you kill 'er? When's the last time we had an opportunity like this to sing?"
Scissors pondered the idea.
"What do you think Limulady?" Scissors asked mockingly.
"L-Limu loves singing, yes…"
"It's settled then! Let's play."
Both sides readied themselves, Limu mustered all of the courage and stood firm, looking back at Scissors with an angry expression, she wasn't going to give up.
0:37 it had only been a few seconds since they began, but Limu heard gunshots to her right, as enemy Grunts tried to shoot Scissors down, nothing seemed to faze the demonic diva however and in the blink of an eye, the grunts met their demise. Limu hadn't even seen her move.
As Nevada flashed red, Limu didn't dare keep her eyes off of Scissors, preparing herself for anything the maid might throw at her. Unfortunately, she failed to look above her…
Meanwhile…
Varelt was starting to get frustrated, she had gone through many grunts and henchmen on her way to find her target but there was still no sign of Scissors anywhere.
The red environment certainly didn't help matters, Varelt had already grown accustomed to lots of red due to how many she had killed already, but when everything in the state was red barely any other colors to go with it, it gets irritating after a while.
Varelt was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard commotion nearby, following the noise, it sounded like… singing? Peeking her head around the corner, it looked like Limu had beaten her to finding Scissors (albeit accidentally) and the two were duking it out.
("Perhaps the aquatic annoyance has some use after all…") Varelt thought, a look of malice on her face.
She ran up to the three, scythe in hand, ready to surprise attack Limu and then swiftly kill Scissors.
1:15 Only to be stopped in her tracks when Limu had been frozen in fear by the sight of Scissors' true form, the latter crushing the former, killing her.
While Varelt knew in her heart that Limu would come back (she always did), she couldn't help but chuckle upon Limu's sudden death, Scissors made it look so easy.
Neither Scissors nor Circe were surprised upon Varelt's sudden appearance, as a matter of fact, Scissors seemed to double in her bloodthirsty appearance and attitude, her eyes now fully visible.
Circe said in frustration: "You should've dodged, dumbass!", a bit annoyed that Limu died so easily.
It didn't take Varelt long to pick up where Limu left off, while Scissors seemed aggressive, Varelt could see that she was beginning to get tired.
The grunts and Scissors' attacks were relentless, but Varelt managed to block the attacks with precise swings of her scythe, neither side able to hit the other.
2:32 Varelt seemed to get the upper hand until the song ended, Circe showed her true form, now appearing as a demon, pulling a lever that Varelt hadn't seen until now, revealing an ambush, Varelt saw how many grunts were now locking onto her and immediately knew that she wouldn't be able to fight all of them.
"Any last words?" Scissors hissed, the grunts cocking their guns in Varelt's direction.
Varelt did some quick thinking and did her best convincing smile.
"That won't be necessary, I'm only here to make an offer. One I'm sure you can't refuse." Varelt said, hiding any signs of fear from her voice.
Scissors laughed.
"Oh really? What could you possibly offer me that will make me change my mind?" Scissors said, her red eyes showing a crazed expression.
"Simple, access to more victims."
Scissors' eyes perked up, her uncanny smile faltering in shock.
"Hold fire, men." Scissors said. The grunts lowered their weapons. "I'm listening…"
Varelt chuckled. "You see, my name is Varelt, My goal involves slaughtering every single universe and its inhabitants one by one, my offer is, if you can help me find a way to permanently be rid of Limulady and serve me, I will bring you to many universes, where you can slaughter to your hearts content."
"I already have killed Limulady though." Scissors said, a mixture of satisfaction and confusion in her voice.
"Have you?" Varelt asked, her smile fading.
Varelt looked at the boulder that had crushed Limu. Slicing it open with her scythe, Limu's body was nowhere to be seen, not even a trace of her blood.
Scissors was in shock: "What?!"
Varelt shook her head. "That's what I mean, no matter what I try, she doesn't stay dead, she has been following me ever since I've began traveling from universe to universe, she has been a CONSTANT annoyance. She's even revived some of my victims! That's why I require your help, and in return, I will grant you the ability to slaughter anything and anyone in any universe you please… so do we have a deal?"
Varelt extended her hand, Scissors took it with no hesitation, her somewhat sharp teeth forming a toothy smile that would invoke fear in anyone that wasn't Varelt.
"Deal." Scissors said, bloodlust in her tone.
"Circe, you will be in charge of the grunts while I am away." Scissors said to her partner in crime.
Circe gave a salute, turning back into her regular form, as Varelt and Scissors made their leave, Varelt opening a portal for them to go through.
The two had much planned.

@@LiruSapphire well, in my opinion the best thing about this is the music and vocals(they go to my playlist after all), I loved them the most, probably because I'm an fnf music addict but the main reason is that your way of making songs makes them incredibly better than the original in every video you upload.
