Hard Miles tells the uplifting true story of the bicycling team at Rite of Passage’s RidgeView Academy, a medium-security correctional school in Colorado. The film follows beleaguered coach Greg Townsend (Matthew Modine) as he rounds up an unlikely crew of incarcerated students for a seemingly impossible bike ride from Denver to the Grand Canyon.

We are thrilled with how the trailer turned out! So excited to see it on the big screen in April!
It was a nice touch to cast Sean Astin as the bike shop owner, after he and Matthew Modine were part of the same crew in 1990's Memphis Belle. Especially as, when asked what he would do after the war, Astin's ball gunner character Rascal sardonically replies to Modine's pilot Dennis "I'll come to your shop and rob it!". Then in Hard Miles Modine's character turns up at Astin's shop to ask for sponsorship. I had to smile at the irony of that.
I was in canon state academy for 5 years so seeing this gets me so happy
Just saw this trailer on a UA-cam video. First of all, I was like "hey, that's Stanley!" But more importantly, the movie looks intriguing and I like the idea of the story.
LOL I had the "Hey that's Stanley!" reaction too, followed in short order by "Whoa! Matthew Modine! Niiiiice!"
Excited to see an UPLIFTING movie!!!
Saw this last night.
Brilliant movie
Loved it
Looks very interesting. This should be played in the movies in Europe as well. Otherwise I hope that it will be put on Amazon prime
Playing now in UK
Love this movie!
Looks interesting, I would really like to see a modern version of Breaking Away 1979, I quit biking for years and came across the movie about 5 years ago and have been biking ever since.
How's your taint?
I still have nightmares from all the times I fell down from the shoe clips during my riding days.
Looks good, hope it gets good traction and does well in the box office.
Reading the comments I see a lot Breaking Away Alumni! For me that movie got me into biking along with Quicksilver and American Flyers. Now at 62 I still ride a brakeless fixed gear and still love putting on my biking cap.
Hard Miles is definitely giving boys in the boat the movie. ❤
I'm watching this just for Jackson Kelly.
Looks like a good movie and I think that’s a good way to rehabilitate someone outside of the bars. I will see the movie
I couldn’t help but think of Adam Friedland when I saw that one kid!!!
Vision Quest meets Breaking Away. Looks great.
"High tolerance for pain I guess" best comment

This movie was going to show at The Palace Theater in Sun Prairie, WI. However, it's been removed for unknown reasons? Any one know anything about this?
Thanks for pointing this out, will find out.
They only make one of these per year. Interesting they pick at bicycle movie
I used to ride and no movie deal 😢
Paul Steely White: The Movie
Hoods in the woods
This movie reminds me of McFarland!! But McFarland is way better!
We can't any story without a white saviour and sports nowadays?
Youth need to push physique, enough with these phones
Looks cheezy.
maybe director/writer is too young to remember breaking away, or many other cycling movies before this.
@@carlosgaspar8447 we watched it a lot while writing the script
lol looks stupid. Also just promote Bicycles in the street in cars way…
🚵♀️ Wanna watch it, chums! 🤗
