For example, for an authentic sinigang, you use a leafy vegetable called "Kangkong" but you can easily change that with any leafy veggie like spinach, lettuce, cabbage, etc. For the seasoning, if you put seasoning mix, it would taste sinigang regardless of what you do. Sinigang is one of the best Philippine Dish. It is so versatile it can acommodate customizations based on the cook's preference. Most common sour ingredient is usually tamarind but other sour fruits and leaves can be used instead. For protein one can use fish, shrimp, beef, pork and I've even seen some use chicken which kinda works. You can even make use of Miso creating a nice blend of Philippine and Japanese cuisine.
ID dishes are already somewhat known in JP because of indomie and mie goreng and stuff, iirc there were even ID members giving out packets of the stuff or something to Holo JP members/Holomems they met in Japan?

Uyy Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I remember this a long time ago and its popping up just now lmao
I miss Sui-chan and Todokoro Azu's scramble show🥺, it was my happiness every sunday afrernoon till it ended.
Now im hungry
Probably gonna buy some sinigang ingredients next grocery run ngl
Well, for the unawares. Sinigang along with Adobo are pretty much THE national dishes of the Philippines.
These are sort of the default dishes of the land. i.e. if you can't decide what to cook, you'll eventually decide on either Adobo or Sinigang.
Both are also the first dishes anyone would learn how to cook after learning to cook rice
Its make sense now, why she got rejected many times in INNK audition
*sad Akimoto Sayaka noises*
Glad she's tried cooking this dish. Sinigang is both versatile (lots of types of meat and veggies complement this dish stupidly well) and universal. Its the perfect companion dish for almost any season.
Sinigang gang for lyfe www
First Polka with balut, then Bae with Pinakbet now Suisei with Sinigang. What the fuck is happening?
Oh yeah, Polka did mention that way back.
have you seen the clip I think it's noelle talking about her xmas experience in suisei's house where suisei's mom cook food from her homeland
@@shun0825i didn't know that...
Edit: Found the clip.

SUINIGANG WOOOOOO
Sinigang is one of the best Philippine Dish. It is so versatile it can acommodate customizations based on the cook's preference. Most common sour ingredient is usually tamarind but other sour fruits and leaves can be used instead. For protein one can use fish, shrimp, beef, pork and I've even seen some use chicken which kinda works. You can even make use of Miso creating a nice blend of Philippine and Japanese cuisine.
wait until Suisei knows about rendang
ID dishes are already somewhat known in JP because of indomie and mie goreng and stuff, iirc there were even ID members giving out packets of the stuff or something to Holo JP members/Holomems they met in Japan?
Dude rendang is awesome. Like top 10 dish of all time awesome. But sinigang and rendang are apples and oranges. One is a soup the other a braised dish. Totally different dishes. I’m from Bicol in the Philippines and we have a lot of coconut milk based dishes too so I love Indonesian food. I think our local food is closer to your food than other Philippine food.
@@NotSomeJustinWithoutAMoustache indomie is so good
@@spamspasm8183the concessionaire in our pantry sells rendang, it is pretty much bicol express minus the curry flavor. Wait, am i making sense. If not, please ignore me as I'm quite drunk. Thank you.
well if she want to cook the original rendang recipe it's gonna take long to make, but there's many instant rendang seasoning now
Spare rib sinigang? Dang Suisei knows what to cook
Suinigang with special flavor of SuiPi~ 🪓💀
What makes sinigang so convenient for home cooks is that it's also incredibly easy to cook. While there are a few optimizations you can make, you can simply just put every ingredient in a pot and boil it till it's done. You'll get 90% of the taste that way. If you don't care for preserving the taste of the vegetables, as Suisei here, then the veggies being overcooked is actually a positive.
PinakBAE, SUInigang.
What's next? AdoBAU?
Sinigang Supremacy!!!
It's a very delicious soup dish and was even hailed as the best soup dish in the world by Taste Atlas. And it's actually very easy to cook.
Glad that Sui-chan loves it to the point that she can eat her veggies because of it.
シニガン美味しいよね✨

Now all we need a cover of Suisei singing "Asim Kilig".
Sinigang > Adobo
I'll die on this hill.
Bicol express solo’s both
It's kaldereta and dinakdakan for me, but those three can share 2nd place
Methinks this is the reason Suichan survived her batsu game of drinking a sour drink.

Me while holding the Philippine Flag: *Sorry I can't hear you over the sound of my pride*

Philippines and sinigang mentioned let's go guys!!!!!!!
Suisei ain't beating the Filipino allegations 😭💀
Suisei with sinigang and Bae with pinakbet; those are two dishes that could be a bit polarizing to foreigners because of some exotic ingredients or strong tastes. Sinigang is very sour which could be hard to get used to, and pinakbet uses shrimp paste which could be very pungent. And both have a lot of vegetables. It's so interesting that they really these two dishes.
As someone whose grandfather comes from Heilbronn (German city where the Knorr brand comes from) it is interesting and somewhat confusing to see Knorr in a random Vtuber video title.
