- State and federal investigators are looking into a South Florida company that held recruiting events in the Haitian community after people complained they invested big money but got no payout. 7’s Heather Walker investigates.
Two red flags right from the jump: the "uplift our own" angle, and the flashing of the expensive watch in pictures.
The guy is uplifting his community by having them, live vicariously through him.
I hope these people get Justice, cause this scammer are all over the world stealing from hard working people.
Glad I trusted my instincts. I was so close to leasing on with them
How? This scam is obvious. You were close to forking over 8k😂😂😂
The amount needed to start with them is $28,000, which includes the truck, equipment, and other expenses. I was told this by a lady. However, they require an initial payment of $2,000 just to show you a few things before you start working for them. They promise that you will earn 20% of every load. You will be on the road for at least three weeks at a time (OTR). For every week you spend OTR, you will earn one day off.
You too can be a real estate flipper using other people’s money.
Robbed his own people
who else is he going to rob?
Keywords to look for in a scam “I’m doing this for my community”. No you’re not. Otherwise you’d be a non-profit organization. Everyone is in business to make themselves money.
why not book your own loads ?
Yeah helping The Haitian Community Loose Their Money ASAP , Always Check With State Agencies and The Community Before Investing.
Yves, you look like a scammer, bruh
Fed ex will let you buy a route
Haitians treat each other very well

At least it’s an INCLUSIVE RIPOFF ! 😂
They could have started their own business. It's easy asf
Easy money doesn't come this fast and easy. Before entering a business or investment do heavy research, lot of red flags.
This is why I don't invest. Even Wallstreet is crooked.
I don't know bro, I invest and when I withdraw my money it's not crooked.
The problem is the owner of the company is also Haitian too and is robbing and destroying his own Haitian communities.
If it weren't for laws in place in America and jurisdiction laws, Haitian would have done so much corruption and dirty businesses in America.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW...THEY COULD AFFORD TO DO THAT...✌
I saw them making videos asking for funds to invest. As someone who was in hotshot trucking, it all smelled like bullshit. They prey on Haitian immigrants, sorry to the victims.
First of all , anyone who tells you you can make $5,000 -$10,000 per week in a pick-up truck is trying to scam you . I know the Transport Industry very well and those numbers do not exist , even if you bought a Big Rig you wouldn't make that much . The days of making good money in the Transport Industry even in Expediting are gone . I am not saying a person can't make a good living but you can't get rich especially driving for someone else .
I've invested big money into a few things and I never got a penny back. That's the risk of any investment.
No. That’s called a scam. You’ve been *scammed* a few times.
@@ribtips305 Wrong. Go to community college and learn about the percentage of new small businesses that fail. (Or just Google it...)
Demesmond gives out Demon vibes.

Stop taking shortcuts. In this day and age of the internet, do your research.
I want to see which one of them have the stronger “magic” 🧙🏽♂️🕯️🐓🧟♂️

You gotta be a damn fool will be putting your money into that
Ya! A total food
@@Vernon-ft4yv LOL

He is a thief trust me it’s more out there
Finessed his own people 🤦🏾♂️
That’s because they’re too gullible, it’ll ALWAYS be your own
Demesmond gave my parents a terrible refinance deal for their home and took advantage of their trust and lack of research.
What’s sad is that the young Haitian generation is following the same corrupt regime the Haitian politicians and businessmen in Haiti have been doing over years….. 🦀 🪣 🦀 🪣
Wow “recent Haitian immigrants” have $15-$20,000 to drop on a down payment. Geez America really works for some.😮
Lol if you don't have money saved up that's on you, please don't project onto immigrants.
This is what happens when you try to get into something that you don't know anything about . They fell for the trap 😂
People like this lady are the ones messing up the trucking industry. They know nothing about the industry and yet throw money in it. Wish she gets her money back thou
I just don't understand how people can be so dum to gave people money not knowing where the money really goin fuck that I'll keep it on my pocket 💯
