Sky Factory 4, also known as “let’s make Jacks life a living hell”
My favorite quote from this series is from when Gav and Trev were looking at the baby Gavin statue on the portal and Gav steps back and falls through a hole in the floor and Trevor goes "I watched him sink through the floor a la jumanji"
Interesting to see how, in the last Sky Factory, there were dedicated platforms for specific stuff, but in this one, everything’s just a mess

ya.. that question was very Gavin like, and commenting on what Ryan said Im pretty sure that you cant survive very long once your heart stops beating. at the same time Im also pretty sure that your heart is not controlled by your brain but more of an automated system
@@LostNomadKing well not really, I'm pretty sure your brain controls everything. It's just that the stuff that keeps you alive, apart from external things like breathing, is automated by the brain.

i absolutly loved the early episodes of sf4 and this really emphasizes why. theyre all just doing tedious shit so they have great conversations
Which made it quite annoying later on when they started to cut out the "boring" parts from content where nothing happens.
Like the Survive Block Island series they had. They outright said they removed half the playtime as it was just them doing the same boring repetitive tasks. Those boring repetitive tasks are gave us such great moment at the Pubert situation and others.
(And yes I am aware I'm commenting on a 2 year old comment.)
@BradyT918 it's literally what made the older videos so good. The new stuff is just over produced and not natural commentary. We will never get that again. It was fun while it lasted.

How could you not include Lindsay going off about Peppa Pig. That was one of the best parts.

I love how they used to hate PC minecraft. Now that's what they primarily play. And I love how they comment how much they love the mods. I do find it funny when they complained about the menu system and it was pretty much what was in the Xbox 360 version.

@@ethanrandall3005 From the finger comments made after, I assume it was a callback in some form to the minecraft lets play long ago where gavin put a sign down saying that ryan fingered a babies ass, which led to ryan explaining the things you have to go through when you have children.

Gotta be honest, the first ten episodes of Sky Factory 4 haven't felt as good as their first Sky Factory attempt several years ago. It has some moments, especially the cow king song, but other than that it felt less chaotic and interesting to watch.
Very much agreed. I think the fact that Jack and Ryan were already very familiar with it through their personal twitch streams really hurt the series. So much of the magic from the original series was the process of discovery, whereas here it felt more like them marking off a checklist anytime they did anything. Much less fun to watch and I think one of the reasons this one petered out so much faster than the original.
Sky factory 4 started the same way as the original, Gavin vein-mining the floor away.
I seriously question Gavin’s sanity way too often because of videos like these lol
